The Bangles sprinkled their songs through a good part of my life. Susanna Hoffs, I mean come on, that voice was very special. The Bangles as a group just sounded like they were born to sing together. When you put out more top 10s than the Go-Gos, you're doing something right. While I am a 70s Music Man, I do love the 80's.

I think many people have their own memories with this song, but I just recently found out The Bangles where inspired by the eternal flame that is burning at Graceland for the late Elvis Presley and since more then a year also for his late daughter Priscilla. May they both rest in peace.

The Bangles were from Los Angeles, California. It makes me proud there are bands like this that have true talent that came from my hometown where I was born and raised, Los Angeles, California.
The last minute and a half of this song is pure pop perfection with all 4 Bangles' voices blending together- still gives me goosebumps all these years later.

The passionate way the Bangles do this classic, especially Susannah Hoff, just naturally puts you in the mood for love, to be loved, give love, to be held, caressed, kissed, held close by your special one, even if they aren't here anymore. That is what is so great, cool, hip about The Big 80s music era, even today all of it still sings, talks to your soul, mind, heart. My favorite song as a kid! I was born in 83' had such a huge impact on me. Coming out with a killer version on 07/30. It's gonna be a little heavier but still true to the original! :) I means so much for me to do the song justice with just a slight modern twist! :)

My mom just passed yesterday. She so wanted to live but was so weak yet strong at times. I played this song as I held her hand watching her last heart beats. Love her so much! Good person inside and out!!!

Everytime I hear this song .. it would take me back when I was a little kid about 4-5yrs old riding in an old white truck while my dad is driving we would sing together ... My dad passed in '89 and this song is our special song love and miss you daddy 💛
