I have just finished watching your Norwegian fjords trip on Iona and it was brilliant. We are booked to do the same trip this summer as our first ever cruise and so I looked on TH-cam to find out more about it and your videos were so informative and friendly, full of very useful “down to earth” tips and information. Your relaxed manner made them easy to watch and I’ll probably rewatch some of them again before we travel and make some notes to remember. I’m already planning to book early for a meal at The Olive Grove once we board as it looked great. A special mention for the Karaoke singing, amazing voice, loved it. @@amandahimsworth7469 Thank you very much, I would go back to far with our vlogs, when we first started out on TH-cam are "Vlogs" were nothing short of just PowerPoint presentation lol. Over the years they've got better and now there at a play we're happy with them. We try and be polite to everyone we meet on board, even more so with the staff. They spend months away from their families at sea working so hard for us so we can have a fab holiday. It must be very difficult for them at times. A simple please, thank you, good morning or asking them how's their day been, could just brighten up their day 🙂 xx

Hey. Great vlogs! We are booked for Iona this year. I don’t suppose you remember the time you could get off the ship? Trying to arrange a flight but I feel like a 10am flight might be too early?! Thank you for your help! ❤
Hello, Im so sorry with the delay in replying. Jessica and myself always try and reply asap but as you can imagine a couple of comments slip through the net.
yes 10am flight will be way too early. Jessica and I asked for a late disembarkation time purely for Jessica's disabilities. We were lucky to get the time of 9.45am but the earliest is like from about 8.30am onwards. It also depends on what embarkation you wish to do. P&O offer you two options.
1) You can leave your bags outside your cabin between 5pm - 10pm the evening before disembarkation and the staff will take them off the ship for you. you wont see your cases again until you are at the terminal. this frees you up to go for one last breakfast in the main dining room without dragging the cases with you. (Jessica and I always do this option)
2) You keep your cases with you and take them off yourself but with that youll have to drag them with you to breakfast (Providing you go to breakfast)
I personally think a 10am flight will be way too early especially if you dont get off the ship until 8/8.30am also on our last cruise we did on Sky Princess. due to bad weather (High Winds) they temporarily stopped disembarkation for about 40 minutes due to the weather. im not saying that will happen to you but you never know. Jessica and I always book our national express coach back from Southampton to London for 1/2pm just incase for any unforeseen circumstances. You could get very lucky and be off the ship within minutes and make the 10am flight but personally if i was in your situation, we would leave it until after lunchtime just incase.
