This is by far the BEST video on how to change color threads and even if you were using the same thread color. I have been watching so many other videos on when you run out of thread and have to start again. Finally I have found one that looks perfect when you do this, and then end your finished project. Thank you so much!!!!!!
OMG, I watched the same 2 dozen videos that you must have watched in which this was done in a totally different way than what I wanted to learn. I've been embroidering for many years but hadn't needed to embroider 2 sheets of felt together to make ornaments. Your excellent video showed all the steps I needed in one convenient place. Good job!
Thankyou so much i was so many tutorial s just to know hw could i use a new thread and i kept messing things but now im all great . continue doing this beautiful work..
Hi Bard - I hope you solved your problem sorry I don't have any great tips for hiding the knot if it can't go inside. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Hi Julie, thanks for your question. I used painters tape that I cut with a rotary cutter and then marked with a white gel pen. Hope that answers your question. Thanks for watching. 🙂
Hi Beverly - Sorry for the distraction. I have stopped putting music in my newer videos but I can't do anything about this one. Thanks for watching and for the feedback.

How do you make the tape at the beginning? Thanks

Please show how you start the beginning stitch. Nobody ever shows that.
I think I just sandwiched the knot between the two layers of fabric. Sorry I don't really remember. Thanks for watching.
