Most people don’t understand how much effort and prayer it takes to get out of a dark place. I’ve enjoyed listening to Eric, he makes me feel like I’ve known him for years. Keep soaring Eric ..

As i watch this, my dad is in shags looking like a shadow of himself coz he's an alcoholic. The guy lost his job (Telkom Kenya) and since then couldn't deal with his new reality. My mum had to kick him out to shagz because home had become hell. All that chaos made me hate tei but slowly got hooked to weed. Campus was crazy and after leaving, you can imagine how hard it is to find your foot out here. I smoked crazy to the point i almost committed suicide. As we talk, 2024 i chose to stay away from any type of drug and man has my life being getting better. The suicide attempt was my wake up call. For those struggling with addictions, i swear it only gets better if you choose to say no otherwise you die miserable. You might be at a point where you're so self destructive you can't stop on your own,if that's the case, ask for help. That's being strong. Much love and remember I'm out here watching you and rooting you from afar.

Just remembered I've met Eric through the pod they had with Brenda. So glad and happy to hear him making references to God and spirituality. No one is really ever beyond the reach of His grace. 🤍

Truly this will be one of the most watched, most impactful CTA's. Godspeed to you Eric and well done Richie. You knew the right person to bring. And yes, we all have that family member, so this is a class in session. Asante sana!

Used to hang out in similar circles to this guy back in high school and as a kid he seemed to me like someone who had it all figured out. Kumbe this was the reality

Aw Eric... great to listen to his story, we were together in saint Marys and later on Wilson. Who knew what was beneath the smile. Praise God that his story can be a testimony to help others out of addiction.

There's two sides to this stigma coin. There's mad respect for people who've walked the dark side of life and come clean.

Resonate with his disposition to alcohol because of numbing family tension and parental separation. Exposure to such a person is way more riskier.

It's such a shame that the frontal lobe only fully develops at 25.. The lack of foresight at that age... Because it's sad how deep he dug himself so early in life.. ati I thought I was in rehab to learn how to drink like a gentleman 😂😂😂😂😂😂
