6 yrs ago Eric's story was mine,its scary how even thousands of miles apart,our story is similar. From the war stories,stints in institutions (rehab&jail),not feeling the AA vibe to the deliverance and different perception of life after this monkey was taken off my back. My best friend abused alcohol until her kidneys were damaged. She battled kidney disease and succumbed in December 2016. I recognize that it isn't easy to overcome alcohol addiction 😓. I am glad that Eric lives to tell his story and educate us about this terrible disease.
Having watched the entire playlist, A Star is right, this is one of the most impactful CTAs. It’s made people understand alcoholism from a spiritual level and from a health perspective. You guys keep up the amazing work 🙌🏽

This sounds almost the same as my story. I didn't fly in SA but at Wilson and when I was on the cusp of completing my CPL, I veered off course and now, at 30, I'm glad I still have a chance and Mr Mutiso has encouraged me. Its the first time hearing someone from the industry opening up. You are very courageous. One day, I hope I'll share my story.
Just finished watching the entire episode.. This is an eye opener and a rare insight into the struggles of addicts from the eyes of Erick.. Things that we downplay or overlook as outsiders.. We cover Erick with the precious Blood of Jesus. We scatter all plans of the enemy concerning his life and ministry..Erick ,may you continue sharing your story and become a light and becon of hope to the society..

There are no dumb addicts.. my friend was such a good painter. Guys used to pay him even when drunk , he only gave promises. Once in a while he'd give a masterpiece and go back drinking.. RIP Ngugi
