First pile resonates so much ! I'm a law student and right now, things are pretty hard...I feel really unmotivated to study because I feel like law isn't for me. Deep down, I know that I should have studied literature instead, but I know that it doens't pay that much and I'm not couregeous enough to drop out of law school. My mom told me that since I'm young, I've always been giving up once things got hard. I've been comparing myself to a friend of mine who never studies ( or only at the last minute), who's naturally talented, she never comes to lectures, she asked me to give her my notes, and she got such a good grade while I miserably failed that class...But I won't give up and I'll keep trying, as you said, I can pursue many things at the same time. I can be a lawyer and a writer. I just need to stop my "woe-is-me " act. Thank you Gem, you don't know how helpful you are ! ❤
If you want to make it a lot easier (law school) there is a science to studying. Take or study on your own study skills. You are struggling with not knowing how to study. With study skills you will be able to ace every test without having to put in major hours and stressing out. I was a D student in High School, and then I took study skills course and graduated college with both a full AA and a full BA in 3 years with a 4.0 GPA. Study skills will save you so much time and just make it more fun. Law school will make you a better novelist, so start thinking of it that way. Once you graduate you can start taking your literature classes for fun. You can have the best of both worlds.

I've learned over time that your soul will give you major signs when something just isn't in your heart or no longer serves your highest good calling. We tend to stay in degree path, jobs/career fields, and relationships that aren't right for us due to fear of change/unknown or for other's approval instead of following our heart. When your face has constant opposition/challenge doors closing its a sign it isn't for you versus the universe making doors open and things going magically smoothly. Follow your heart. It isn't failure or giving up if it doesn't resonate with your soul versus asking yourself if you do want it but have a pattern of constantly giving up/running when things get difficult because you cannot grow when everything is comfortable but also need to follow your heart and intuition.

First pile resonates so much ! I'm a law student and right now, things are pretty hard...I feel really unmotivated to study because I feel like law isn't for me. Deep down, I know that I should have studied literature instead, but I know that it doens't pay that much and I'm not couregeous enough to drop out of law school. My mom told me that since I'm young, I've always been giving up once things got hard. I've been comparing myself to a friend of mine who never studies ( or only at the last minute), who's naturally talented, she never comes to lectures, she asked me to give her my notes, and she got such a good grade while I miserably failed that class...But I won't give up and I'll keep trying, as you said, I can pursue many things at the same time. I can be a lawyer and a writer. I just need to stop my "woe-is-me " act. Thank you Gem, you don't know how helpful you are ! ❤
If you want to make it a lot easier (law school) there is a science to studying. Take or study on your own study skills. You are struggling with not knowing how to study. With study skills you will be able to ace every test without having to put in major hours and stressing out. I was a D student in High School, and then I took study skills course and graduated college with both a full AA and a full BA in 3 years with a 4.0 GPA. Study skills will save you so much time and just make it more fun. Law school will make you a better novelist, so start thinking of it that way. Once you graduate you can start taking your literature classes for fun. You can have the best of both worlds.
@@RiverWoods111 Thank you for your advice. You are right, I don't really know how to study and should work on that. High school was easy for me since I used to learn every lesson by heart. But I've realized that in college it's no longer possible, so I need to find a new method.
@@banan4726I have been feeling very unmotivated as well. I've learned over time that your soul will give you major signs when something just isn't in your heart or no longer serves your highest good calling. We tend to stay in degree path, jobs/career fields, and relationships that aren't right for us due to fear of change/unknown or for other's approval instead of following our heart. When your face has constant opposition/challenge doors closing its a sign it isn't for you versus the universe making doors open and things going magically smoothly. Follow your heart. It isn't failure or giving up if it doesn't resonate with your soul versus asking yourself if you do want it but have a pattern of constantly giving up/running when things get difficult because you cannot grow when everything is comfortable but also need to follow your heart and intuition.
