@@golietop I totally get what you mean, Fred! It would be pretty cool to have a 360 or top-down camera view when parking. It could definitely provide an extra layer of confidence and accuracy.
Tesla's plans for that future , they're always working on improving their technology. Who knows, maybe it's something they'll consider in the future!

Literally just picked up our Model X 30 minutes ago. No lighting or anything, which I wish we waited for, but I still love it.
Stuff changes real fast. Just be happy with what you got & more importantly, MAKE THE MOST of the moneys spent on it, esp. if you bought it brand new!

Yeah to me this is a bunch of non-improvements addressing none of the actual problems with the car. Same as the highland refresh - fixed almost none of the issues the car has, instead doubling down on the worst ideas like compromised controls.
Oh, also we're a few years overdue being able to unlock track mode on AWD with performance upgrade!

The app update sucks. My car takes FOREVER to connect. It’s a ghost for about 5 minutes every time I look at it

@@maxwellrobinson2924 First I was a little sad I was missing out on many of the newer design changes, but I realize now that my 2021 Model 3 actually has the most features of all of the versions.
USS, lumbar adjust, Matrix lights, fog lights, radar and a few other goodies.

Love your videos, man 😄you think you can talk about how delivery of the new model 3 keeps getting pushed back? EDD went from end of January - beginning of February to now mid April/May for basically everyone with a red/long range/ white interior configuration. The frustration is palpable in the“Model 3 Highland (US) Waiting room” thread on Tesla Motors Clubs. I ordered day 1 and it looks like i’d get a vin within hours if I modify to rwd black interior, which suggests something is off at Fremont with either the red color, the white interior, and/or awd model combos.
Seems like the issue is with the white interior. My RWD model 3 got pushed back today from 3/15-3-31 to 4/11- 5/16
Some clarification on the solar charging please? How does it know what the solar system is doing? Unless it's a specific Tesla solar setup? Otherwise there is no communication between solar and the car
Wish performance came with 19s instead of 20's that bend from every minor pothole.
That was nly on the first run. Hasn't been an issue for 5 years at least. I toasted alot of tires on my M3P on potholes. Some hit hard. No issues with the the wheels
@@ericjarvis3051 Interesting, are they still cast wheels or did they switch to flow forged or full forged? I was up to date on the news back in 2018-2019 when I got my M3 but haven't been following as much in recent years.
Have you heard anything about odometers recording more miles than actually driven? Example from my home to my children’s school is 1.5 miles so round trip 3 miles total. But after the trip the odometer records 5 miles total driven not 3. I’ve done a couple Google searches and found a Reddit thread with others with the same issue.
Glad they finally fixed it, Ryan. Leaks can be a major headache.

I don't see an opening for a hitch in the updated M3P but with the updated rear, might be able to cut through it to install without having to have it so low.
If you really need it tow anything you shouldn't be buying a smaller sedan
@@ericjarvis3051 Towing isn't the only purpose of a hitch receiver. I just want a bike rack. This is very important to me and I think may others. I have the Stealth Hitch on my current M3P but it is SO LOW that it grounds out on any kind of bump.

@@ericjarvis3051 to each their own. For me, having a small and fun car for my daily life is what I want. But, again for me, a hitch receiver on a small car is more vital than on a mid sized or SUV because I need to be able to throw on a bike rack, or a luggage holder, or a rack for some camping stuff etc for the rest of the times. It’s a standardized attachment point that makes the small every day driver a utility infielder for the rest of my life.

I’m patiently waiting for everyone (buyers & manufacturers) to make their moves, improvements in technology and interest rates to come back down before I get rid of my 22 Honda pilot with a 1% interest rate😊. Then I’ll get on the hype while everyone stuck with over priced cars with high interest rates. I like to stay ahead of the curve while everyone is stuck with the curve, better benefits.

I just purchased my first Tesla model 3 and I’ve been loving it. With the first snowfall came new challenges I wasn’t expecting. I would like to ask if there’s a way to turn off regenerative braking in icy conditions, as it seems to be more of a safety hazard than a benefit.
You’re only telling yourself that, learn to drive the car…
Kind of rude I have over 20 years experienced driving in icy cold weather when I released the accelerator regenerate breaking was too aggressive and cause my wheels to break traction. Normally without regenerative breaking I would release the accelerator let the wheels roll and until they regain traction, then apply break or accelerator as needed. Not an option with regenerative breaking.
You can turn it to low but not off. Go into pedals and steering on the touch screen, scroll down a bit and you will see the option to turn regen braking to low.

There is no camera on the front bumper. It is considered a weak point of Tesla, making it insecure every time it is parked near an object or the wall in front. 😢 As for cars, almost every brand from Asia All of them already have cameras on the front bumpers.😅

You already have 360 on the display. Simply drag around your car and you can see 3d obstacles. It’s better than Birds Eye
I’ve test driven two cars with 360 view including Polestar. It was a total nightmare backing out of my S curve driveway in the Polestar with 360 view - give me the Tesla backing camera ANY DAY!
Wrong.. Even Toyota has much better 360 view. Look at highlander

The 360 view in the cars that I have driven (BYD and Polestar) are horrendous for backing down my S curved driveway. In both cars, I did it repeatedly. It sucks. Give me the Tesla reversing camera any day.

For Cybertrucks that are resold for profit, Tesla could put it into valet mode or speed limit mode easily.

I think Hyundai is trying to make sure the 2024 Ioniq 5 supplies are gone, or greatly reduced before the 2025 models hit the market. I recently leased an Ioniq 5. Hyundai took $10,000 off MSRP. My local dealer had 15 on the lot. He has 1 that’s been there 100 days. He really was hoping I would buy that one.

Everyone complains about not having a 360 degree cam feature, yet everyone is parking just fine with the 3 separate review cams we already have + 3 rear view mirrors + the animated 3D render on screen as well - every time I see a parked Tesla it’s parked rather neatly. Ppl really are insatiable in general. Lol if you can’t park your Tesla properly/easily/comfortably with all that’s available now, you just don’t posses the spatial skills
Give it a couple of years. The build quality will improve, and you won't be an idiot for overpaying for a depreciating asset.

I don’t think people are gonna benefit from listening to the rules! Regardless of what they sell the cyber truck for! It just seems like more work! If they profit the low will take the profit! If they listen to the Tesla clause, they might as well keep the truck!
MS: Yoke sucks , ambient lighting is an overrated gimmick, definitely add the horn, update the signal buttons to the same as the M3, add interior colors Red and Chestnut/Tan with metal trim options like carbon fiber and aluminum instead of just wood.

People asking those prices doesn’t mean people are actually paying those prices. I was really excited about the cyber truck, but the more I see it and the number of times I saw it in person, I am pretty much over it. Definitely an unrefined product. The fact that at the Tesla dealership they were not allowing people to open the front or the tailgate is telling, as the rep, they did not want people to cut off their fingers with the gates closing

New Tesla Model 3 design looks a lot worse than the original. Too generic, trivial, bland, uninspiring. Tesla is new BMW, starting to destroy once beautiful designs for no reason. Will be sad to see the same done to Model Y. Btw, fully support the idea with different trim levels. This way, base level then can have idiotic full glass roof removed. So car price can be lower AND insurance can be lower (yes, those do break and cost a lot to replace, guess who will cover that risk) AND less heat in the cabin in the summer AND utterly useless feature is removed which has NO use whatsoever (no, nobody looks up to the sky, especially when driving).
The glass roof seems to give the car more of a spacious feel but I agree that in the summer that glass makes the cabin way too hot, Tesla could put in built in retractable sunshades at the very least if they plan to keep the glass roof. Don't know the repair cost of replacing the glass roof but I do know the repair cost of the front windshield and going by that it's would be quite a hefty repair bill for the replacement of the glass roof.
There is still the 90 percent of us that thinks cybertruck is hideous because it is. Just screams small you know what complex too

Tesla knows who they sold the cyber trucks too could just ban them from buying anymore vehicles, or other products including supercharging
