Great video but I think you need to make your timeline the same FPS as the cameras minimum FPS if that makes sense? So if your zoom cam films in 24fps but the gopro in 60fps you need the timeline to be 24fps and export at 24 fps and it will stop the ghosting frames.
thanks for comment ABE, the timeline is 30 fps, and minimum frame rate was 60 fps on A camera. Gopro was 120 fps. it does look weird. Will switch timeline to 60 FPS and film at that going forward as we crashed our drone (which maxed out at 30fps) to make action look smoother, any other suggestions?
@@OurKiteLife First switch the Gopro to NTSC so you get more FPS but you did that already if you got 120FPS showing. Don't use PAL, it has uneven FPS. Next make your timeline 30fps and export at 30fps (or time line at 30FPS and export at 29.97FPS) Make sure it's using codec H.264 and the correct dimensions of 1920x1080. If thats all good then you should get rid of the 'ghosting frames'. Is your drone actually filming in NTSC mode at 30fps? If it's not then thats the problem. it might be filming at 25FPS PAL default mode. The Missing 5FPS is what is making this 'ghosting frame' problem. In that case you need to make the timeline 25FPS and export at 25FPS even if your other clips are higher FPS. This guy explains it better th-cam.com/video/VuFn0ia-7P8/w-d-xo.html Hope this helps. Any recommendation on best kiteboarding lessons in NC? I live in Raleigh and am dying to try!
We haven't taken lessons in NC, but from what we've seen REAL Kiteboarding in Hatteras has a great set-up and is worth checking out
