I'm hoping the 5 sec on Obliterate is a typo, since the before version is also listed as 5 instead of the 10 it actually is. Anyway, i feel like a lot of the buffs are offset by the nerfs so they just pointlessly shuffled numbers around without actually improving anything. I think what we need is functional improvements to the things we can use rather than numerical. Sure, bigger numbers are nice but a lot of things aren't used because of the way they work. Making Rifles auto-fire is a good example.
Me too, 10 seconds can give a lot more uptime. Definitely the weapon resuffling feels very confusing - hard to see why exactly they touched almost every single weapon. Interesting point - what is something that got bigger numbers but actually needs a functional improvement?
@@d15p4tch6 Changing rifles to auto-fire was a good move, they should do it for all guns. Making us able to select all weapons in Specializations and/or separating spec mods, faster rocket launcher for technician. Faster grenades. Adding stagger to our melee attacks. Reworking some skills like burster firefly and bombardier drone. Letting us put perfect talents on whatever we want and modify all stats. List goes on. So even though I enjoy a good buff, If I had to choose, i'd pick mechanical/QoL improvements and bugfixes.
Mostly agree with your takes here. Just the changes to the base weapons and brands seem kinds pointless given what recently changed in tu20. Not sure what the driving force was, but it seems like it was done by a person who likes spreadsheets and doesn't have much experience with how the game plays. Reassigned lol I guess maybe theyve got some secret statistics that's telling them it's widely used.... XD It seems like, with buffing the 3rd attributes on some, they're trying to encourage us to spec into 3 pieces. But the bonuses are so random (golan status effects, hello?) that it feels bad and still isn't good enough by a long shot.
🫡 Sup, I like the changes overall. I'm an all day solo PVE guy who runs Glass Cannon. I will now use Umbra as well. My Chameleon is huge now. Those 3 buffs are incredible and 45 sec with reset will have it now easily atop All the A/R. Thankfully ppl will still ignore it 👍

so first we had Resolve , which ironically resolved nothing then the Seasonal character idea F*** up AKA project Dissolve as the playerbase vanished guessing this must be Project Reverse then so why change things and go through the pain of numerous self inflicted game breaking bugs and downtime and payer resentment .
the only reason for this continual pointless tinkering is to keep the devs employed or for certain youtubers to explode into a fountainous mass of verbal Diarrhoea .
or is it ???
this could be a veiled attempt at Seasonal characters by the back door every 4-5months they change gear/weapons /talents requiring another onorous grind just as you would have got via Seasonals so whilst grinding changing/adjusting builds players will have weaker builds until they eventually align with new balancing/metas .
why the attack on DPS builds /brands again no nerf to the likes of Eclipse what about forgotten builds like true patriot no rework vs striker and Ongoing on 4th and 3rd reworks .
