Max looks happier than when he win a race
The two are genuine each others best friends, so Im sure he is truly thrilled of for his bestie.
Look at most racers, they do appreciate and do respect Lando a lot !
Ricchiardo, Sainz, are good friends, Hamilton looked genuinely proud and happy.
Beating Red Bull / Max is a major success, everyone on the grid is happy about it, and Max here can appreciate the major exploit of Lando.
I've been doing competition, and sometimes, seeing the underdog beating us with the manner, an amazing attitude, and a great and respectful fight, it made us happy for them. Genuine sportsmanship, respecting the success.
It was a truly a special day when Lando won. The way everyone from fans on up were truly happy that Lando finally did it. Well deserved to one of if not the most likable driver on the grid.
@@Guspech750. Idk, there’s a lot of people that don’t like him because they think he’s arrogant or bratty…I don’t see that. I understand he has no filter, and the times Lando seems nonchalant or ‘bratty’ honestly I just think he is just compensating for anxiety. I can relate. As a Max super fan I was thrilled for him.

Man im more surprised seeing max show any type of emotions especially he genuinely seems super happy for his homeboy
I feel like Lewis didn't have many peers coming into the sport when he did, or the ones that did are long gone now, so I don't feel like he has a lot of strong relationships with a lot of the other drivers. I don't think he's done a lot to foster improving some of those relationships. No doubt the entire grid respects Lewis as a driver and a champion, but he can seem cold. Glad to see him congratulate Lando and seem genuinely happy for him.

I think he is just happy to see anyone beat Max at this point haha. But no, he's become far more humble last few years now that the pressure to stay on top is behind him.

@@xphxntomx I dont doubt that. Lando has that type of personality where no one really dislikes you, easy to mesh with. I mean he had a falling out with Carlos and whatnot, but that's what happens when you put 2 alpha drivers on the same team. To be expected.

Lando is literally that guy we all wish we were. Friends with everyone, enemies with none. He always says what is on his mind. Always the guy ready to take the piss out of you during an interview just for laughs. I've honestly never seen him frustrated, or mad, or upset... he just seems happy to be in the paddock with friends.
His behavior is infectious, and I've only seen it bring out the best in everyone around him, and I'm super proud of him finally landing his first F1 victory! Big Gratz to him!! 🏆

I really dislike the "boos" going to Verstapped. He's a good guy, just drives and is fast, so I do not understand the hate. Yes, it might be boring when he wins.. but that's not an excuse
I feel the same way, people get upset that he wins and thinks it's purely the car. Max is a god damn racer through and through and arguably puts in the most work on the grid to maintain where he is.

@@mamavswildpeople always seem to hate the winner, especially during dominant periods! Max is a fantastic driver as well as having the best car currently, it’s just the rub of the green. Lewis had it for years, and so did Seb, and so did Michael. Yesterday was a wholesome moment for everyone on the grid, I’m not actually a huge Lando fan but he definitely deserves it!
When it comes to the unnecessary hate/boos from fans, I feel like Max can hold LH's beer.
Lewis is such a genuinely good dude its crazy. I rooted against him after he had so many championships cause I wanted someone else to win for a change... Now I, strangely, want him very much to succeed at Ferrari... Of course Lando is who I root for race in and race out though so he's always going to be who I want to win...
after so many years of dominance its hard to stay with the hamilton camp, it is racing after all, but for me after looking into his background and his family dynamic I became a fan of him, even though he complains a lot xD
@@DaDoubleDee Max is the biggest complainer of all the drivers... even when his is driving these bonkers cars of his. Trust me, when Red Bull starts to fail, which is going to be soon, Max will be crying like he always does.
@@DaDoubleDeeI don’t think he complains any more than any other driver. He just gets more attention over it due to his success. And because of that, he’s in a position to have his voice carry more weight. Remove the bias, and he will go down as one of the greatest ambassadors of the sport for fans of all types.

I think it says a lot when Max gets beaten yet was in as good a mood as after almost any race he wins, and Lewis finishes only 6th but couldn't stop smiling and saying how much fun he had after showing consistent disappointment after races for the past two years.
Let’s see what happens if he starts getting beaten regularly. That’s when real sportsmanship comes out. Not only max, but for everyone

Lando is such a nice guy and it shows, not one driver was unhappy to see him get his win, doesn't matter if you are a champion or have never won a Grand prix. They all appreciate Lando's win for what it is...a win, well deserved and all the critics who will say a safety car or the weather or an accident gave a driver the win is an idiot. The race is dynamic, things happen that can ruin strategy or help it. it is the car, the team, the strategy, the tyres, the weather and the X factor...the unknown, uncontrollable elements that make a Grand prix and a race winner is a race winner because of all those things, good and bad.

So much attention and praise is given to Lando for his first win. I don't know if a non-British driver would get the same attention from the media or vloggers if he wins. I remember Piastri didn't receive this attention when he won the sprint race
It comes with the territory, the Brits control the English language media coverage…us in the 4 colonies have to bear it I guess.
It's mainly because people have been waiting a long time for Lando to get his first win. and in terms of fans McLaren and Lando has alot since they post stuff on TH-cam etc, they would be more relatable to newer fans
Winning an actual race compared to a sprint is a bit different.
well tbf a main race win is better than a sprint win, and max also won the championship that day, so piastri's sprint victory got a bit overshadowed
