  • I recently started classes in Thangka (Tibetan painting), and so join me as I do my homework!

Your voice says, "More leaves. Okay!"
Your tone says, "More enemies. Fine!"

I can relate to so much of this.
Giving yourself homework: I approve! I hated homework in school, and now I give myself homework for anything I think needs practice (or further thought or research). It makes a lot more sense, now that I can choose homework that clearly has value.
Forcing yourself to do a meditative activity: I hear you! I have a whole category of meditative and "flow" activities on my list, to make myself focus on things that don't cause anxiety.
I reminded myself not to hold my breath while knitting, about five minutes before you mentioned that you were holding your breath. :-)
"I won't be embarrassed to show it to my teacher tomorrow." I'm glad. This video is such a great reminder that we notice our own imperfections much more than anyone else does. You can see everything wrong with it, where I can only see a beautiful lotus flower.

More leaves definitely equals more enemies 😆
