In its UBLVE, some movies are coming from NETFLIX. Did UBLIVE has legal right to broadcast them? or do we, as a watcher, be responsible for any consequence for watching those movies? Very concern!
There is an English setting. It has several the British and English channels as well as movies in English. For US$1-3 a year, you can add a subscription to get several US channels like NBC, ABC, CNN and the like. I do wish UBTV would add an American section.

No fees ever. Why? This is illegal. Eventually it will break My grandpa has a UBOX3 and it forces him to repeatedly uninstall and reinstall the app that lelts him watch all the shows/movies. Takes 2 minutes to fix every 2-3 weeks. But hey, it's illegal. Can't have everything.
I bought the 3rd version and it was awful. From the moment I bought it, after around 30 mins of use or a minute or so of scrolling through the VOD services, the box would crash and shut down. The guys I bought it from 'alienshop1' (wechat ID) was useless and there was zero support offered for a box that was clearly faulty. It if worked, the box would have been amazing but unfortunately, the box kept crashing and the customer service they offered was awful. Shame
Sounds like it was a thermal overheating problem; what I have done is such instances is take the case cover off to help it ventilate; I also one time went in and added some copper pennies loaded into the heat sink slots to help dissipate and distribute more heat from the heat sink; thus the problem was solved with overheating though I did have to keep the case cover off on a permanent basis.
So did you like this box? It seems like a normal set top box, except for all the free movies. I am not sure how it finds those. I wonder if something like this is available in the USA. The Amazon link suggests maybe? I enjoy watching your video's, and like the enthusiasm you have! Plus Hong Kong looks like a fascinating place to explore (If I was not terrified of flying)!
even now on the 7th gen box it still does that the search is in chinese u will have to stroll though the movie pics.btw i dont own one i was playing with it at a shop
This is totally illegal in most countries. When it is too good to be true, it is usually illegal. The producers and viewers are infringing upon other people's copyrighted material, DON'T DO IT AGAIN YOUR CONSCIENCE.
Only for Chinese, because so many Chinese language, all VOD movies are Chinese, so for me, all those Movies are Useless!! Other race than Chinese, I suggest DO NOT buy!!
I completely disagree. First, they have live British, French, German, Dutch and other European channels. For English, I bought several of these as gifts for my friends in the US. They LOVE it and they are monolinguals. So, I think you can still really enjoy this as it is a one time fee for so many channels and options. One can also pay a very small fee (I paid US$1) to add the US channels though one of the apps. I just wish it came with the channels to start with . The US distributor's customer service office is VERY helpful!

for Americans i think you would get something called IPTV for american channels and movies etc etc, could get them on ebay for like $50 bucks or less
