Maybe drewski is actually becoming more consistent, which would be awesome, but more likely he just got lazy in June and had to squeeze in a bunch of videos at the end to fulfill the contracts just like a lot of other TH-camrs.

Congrats on the win, Drew. I loved this game and still do to this day, but actually watching the games made me want to claw my eyes out it was so mind numbingly boring. That aside, the off-season is the best part about this game. Adam Schefter popping up in the bottom corner of my screen to talk about how a previously unknown wide receiver came out of nowhere to bail out his QB on some shaky throws whom everyone thought would be a can't miss prospect has me kneeling two feet from the TV like it's Saturday cartoons all over again. I love the scouting system in this game more than the recruiting from NCAA 13 or 14. There are so many approaches you can take to scouting to learn nearly every prospect's potential to going in to the draft knowing only their combine numbers. Couple that with the game having 4(!!!!) unique draft paths that all span 15 seasons and everyone one of them has half a dozen stories that unravel as the season goes on. Names like Jack English, Maceo Sweetney, Boar Jackson, and Jamarrion Bellows stick in my head a decade later. This is as close as we'll ever get to being an actual general manager in a football game. It has the deep level of attention to every factor one could possibly imagine a head coach would deal with. This is what I imagine those farming simulator or German shipping company middle management games are like. The games were poorly received because you can't technically play the games and on top of that, there's so much to focus on and so many notifications and pop-ups that people will get overwhelmed and turn the game off after two hours. I remember going on a really big kick on this game around the time Madden 25(?) was released and a big addition to this game was players having Physical, Intangible, and Size ratings in addition to Speed, Catching, etc. and I was like "oh, that's just Head Coach." One of the feelings I can't quite explain that I get from this game is training camp. You have your draftees whom you probably know what their overall is, but you still need to fill in the blanks of some of the late round picks. Then you have a dozen camp walk-ons and your knowledge of them boils down to his name is Jimmy, he has two legs, and he's 5'9". That's it and I love it. Each week you learn a little more about them. One week Jimmy is a 90 overall because he has blistering Speed, but the next he's a 61 because he's dumb as a rock and has hands to match. You also have to weigh the pros and cons of keeping some of these guys week to week as roster cuts roll around. Do I wanna gamble on this 20 year old 6'6" safety who has no business running a 4.5 40 yard, or do I feel safer with an archaic Rodney Harrison patrolling centerfield hoping his hips don't crack like glass upon swiveling? Ultimately, these small decisions don't mean much as what happens on the field is as good as fishing in the dark, but each one is unique and these will come up week to week and season to season. All of that said, I never ever once created a play in this game. The play builder is awful and I hate it. I'm okay with being wrong, but that's the hill I stand on. Drew, I love this flawed game to pieces and there are many other fans who will throw punches that it isn't one of the best games EA Sports ever made. On their behalf, we thank you for the hours and hours you put into this game and all of the time you spend editing. This series doesn't have the heart and soul of the Pandas that made me subscribe, but it does come close.
I'd love to see a season 2 of this series and see if you can do one more deep playoff run. Lord knows this is as invested in Darren McFadden as I have ever been or ever will be.

You can confirm this by the fact that all high hits on defenseless players are called for facemask. There are no roughness penalties in-game, yet there are in super-sim.
Was inspired to get NFL Head Coach 09 because of this series! It was like $5 and it's a lot of fun. Making made-up plays is literally goated. Drewski does it again.
Giants charged in hard but the Jets stood their ground and immediately unleashed a combo to put them down. With this result I doubt anyone even remembers how hard the Giants pushed to start. I wish I could think of a comparison to this series of events but nothing is coming to mind.
I'd like to see you keep up with series, may do an entire season per episode where you sim all the reg season stuff and maybe only play any playoff/championship games. Love this series hope you keep it up!
