I'd been using a Crabtree & Evelyn scuttle and their shaving soaps for decades. You've opened up a lot of other options for me. I recently got a Parker razor and a variety of blades.

I didn't realize Sauvage was that high end of a cologne. My nephew got me a bottle of it for Christmas last year... I suppose now I really owe him this year. I'm not much of a cologne guy but I do really enjoy it.

Nice shave Ken. I too like my Simpson brush, but it is a Commodore 3 in best badger. I was wondering what the TOBS Platinum Series cream smells like? I have Lemon and Lime, Coconut, Sandalwood and Eton College creams and love them equally. They lather outstandingly well. As others said, try Mont Blanc Explorer as a cheap alternative to Aventus, you may be pleasantly surprised.
Hey Ken, very nice review. The Chubby 1 seems a decent size brush. My Berkeley 46 is a bit small for my hands but nevertheless a great little brush. No hair loss problems either on this one.
You and Mr Smelly are two of my favorite TH-camrs. Also, I can't help but notice that you had some soap residue left behind your right ear after you finished shaving. Cheers!

Ken, Use your creed aventus, it is the big bottle and it will last you a long time.. you paid a lot and is meant to be use my friend! and don't keep it in the bathroom.. the steam from the showers and the uncontrolled temperature deteriorate the life of a cologne/perfume over time. Better in your closet. Great video, what's the scent profile on that shaving cream? sweet? thanks for your quality reviews!

I also happen to like Eternity although I am still in my 20‘s 😂. Maybe it is because it reminds me of my father/uncles wearing it. The Aventus price keeps going up and up. When it was released, it was way cheaper. Of course, natural materials cost more money now than 10 years ago but still. And there are too many fragrances out there going into a similar direction. yeah funny how many deodorants EDT EDC for men were way cheaper in the 90´s and many of the deodorants i love are gone or rare as heck on e-bay sold for an insane price no matter if its pre-used or still new these days everything is expensive as heck trying to write nice not using faul language great video, shave and fun as well....stay safe, cheers...Peter
As nutty and fanatically enthusiast for wet shaving as many of your audience might be; they are not the WORLD. In other words the money Gillette would have to shell to make a New Toggle would not be offset by sales. Wet Shavers do not comprise the majority of the Shaving World. The hobby aspect of wet shaving is NOT shared by the average person who shaves and I highly doubt there would be a crush to buy a New Toggle in the Grand Scheme of Things but you keep in dreaming: I might be wrong. ;-)

Gravitas is great! Best to keep fragrances out of the bathroom and the constant change in heat tho, that'll make the fragrance go bad faster.

Nope, it's only in the Eau de Parfum and I believe he's working on a new scent. I don't believe it's a flanker, but a different scent profile.
