You can not like their songs. But you can't deny the fact that they are reaaaaally important. This group is the one that invented The National Group title, the center position and the theme flexibility
they still had the biggest impact in Kpop for a GG so far.Theyre like a mix of BP, RV and Twice no joke.Like during their peak, they are the NGG hit wise like Twice, but at the same time they are the CF/Influence in media queen like Blackpink, and the quality like RV.Only they dont have the Western popularity which was hard during that day without social media.

Not only I am watching this, but I am a new sone. Yes, even in 2020 new sones can be created. I hear them only for a few months and I feel like they are family to me. The impact of their voices and dance is unbelievable.
Am I the only one amazed at the fan demographic there? Most stages I've seen so far have a clear distinction between the audiences. Male groups like BTS, EXO, SVT and the like clearly have females chanting while it's vice versa with girl groups having a clearly male audience with some deep voices doing fanchants. Though there's always fans of the same gender for groups, it's still more common for majority of fans to be of the opposite sex. With that in mind, the fanchants here were amazing to here- it was a proper mix of both sexes. It makes me appreciate SNSD even more just watching their stages in all aspects

Girls Generation have what South Korean girl groups wish they had - a STRONG female fanbase that has stayed loyal for years. Almost unheard of. That's what allowed them to be together for so long. Same with 2NE1 even after disbanding. If they reunited in the future it would be even bigger news than when S.E.S. or Baby V.O.X reunited. That's the power of 2nd gen girl groups.

Sunny. You are one amongst a few people who happened to completely change my life when I came across you. I want to first start by talking about your musicality. To this day, you have one of the bubbliest voices I’ve heard in my life. There is so much innocence and purity in your voice, and this is one of the reasons why the music you have been a part of has never bee n heard before. You were gifted with a voice that is individual to you and has the ability to enrich the songs that you sing in. The optimism in your voice irresistibly infectious, and the warmth in your voice has attracted many people to the lure of your music. You also sing with so much emotion and feeling. You really know how to make an impression and tell a story when you sing. On top of this, you are such a charming dancer in that you put so much effort in the appearance of your choreographies. You move so effortlessly across the stage and you look so natural when you dance. Your movements are perfect; as you do each subtle move fully and completely, but you don’t focus on each move too much. You know how to balance technique with personal expression, and has led to you becoming one of the greatest dancers of your time. In all, you are one of the most influential artists in the world. You are such an inspiration to musicians everywhere, and there will always be someone who looks to you to follow your dreams. You are such a legend and the impact of your performances will be eternal. As much as I love your presence in music, I love your personality as well. Just like your voice, one of the first traits I noticed in you was your kindness. This may seem innate, but it is easy to forget how to be respectful to others in a world where so much judgement exists. You radiate such positivity and this alone has encouraged others to treat others the same way. You’re also one of the funniest people I know. The fact that you see a chance to laugh in even the most dire of situations says a lot about your warm character. I know that the some of the people who know you to be this way are your members. All of you have built this boundless relationship of love and trust and I know that you are one of the reasons why. You have reminded them of their worth and their potential when they started to forget it. Over the years you’ve taken the time to get to know all of them on a personal level, and because you’ve shown such interest in their lives, they can tell just how much you cherish them. There will always be parts of them that only you know, and you’ve seen them for exactly who they are. You’ve helped them discover so many possibilities and they will continue to see the good in themselves because of the compassion you’ve shown them. Thanks to you, your members will always be able to accomplish all that they set their minds to. You are a part of some of the most defining moments and treasured memories of their lives. We thank you so kindly for changing the lives of your members forever, and helping them become the best they can be. I want to personally thank your parents and family for raising you and helping you become the wondrous and successful person that you are today. I know that they mean to world to you and play a huge role in the person you are today. I just want to state that I hope you are always aware of just how much they truly support you and care for you. If ever you feel lost or conflicted, I hope you know you can always look to them and rely on them. They are there for your safety and protection unconditionally. They will always love you more than anybody else in this world, and I want you to know that every step you take along your journey is one that honors them. They are so beyond proud of you, and always will be no matter what choices you make. As Sones, we keep them in our hearts as you do and we will try to spread the same acceptance and appreciation to others as they do. Sunny, it is your Sones who have been shown some of the greatest love in the world by you. You are just so easy to be around and your fans feel like they can be themselves around you. You have such an inviting presence and you spend so much of your time with us. Just being around you makes us feel like we are being healed and learning at the same time. You truly consider our opinions and reactions to what you talk to us about. It is the greatest feeling to know that you have always trusted us to know some of the most sacred parts of your mind and heart. You can turn something so ordinary into a reason to laugh and be happy, and this has given so many Sones across the world hope for years. Whether we share or worries are triumphs, you have always been there to celebrate them or console us whenever we need it. You have given us a love that we cannot get anywhere else, and no matter what happens, that love will continue to shape us in ways we might not even know is occurring. You’ve been the light in the lives of Sones for years, and nothing could ever change that. Like your members, some of the best times of our lives were spend with you, and nothing could replace the place you stay within all of our hearts. Again, I thank you for changing the lives of countless Sones and for showing them a reason to love themselves. I know you’ve been through a lot, both professionally and personally. Though we’ve seen some of the misfortunes you’ve had, this is nothing compared to how you could have felt and the battles you’ve had to fight. All I can say that we recognize you have gone through these difficult times in your life and we acknowledge the type of perseverance you have to have to make it through them. We are so proud of you for making it past all of these hardships to become who you are today. You have great strength to be able to face these issues and to come out on top with more experience and intelligence. Each time you’ve done this, you’ve prepared yourself to do the same again in the future anytime you need to. In this sense, anybody can learn from you and become fearless like you. I hope you can continue to keep this mentality in the future and conquer what you need to effortlessly. I hope that, on this special day, you get to try all that you’ve wanted to and that all of your dreams come true. They are done. Touring is a grind. It's not like the US where you can go out and ad-lib your concerts. They have to practice their routines continuously. If music were their only career, I think they'd be able to continue, but they all have different interests now. Acting is a much better lifestyle than touring, making new music, learning new choreo constantly. I'm sure they are enjoying their lives a bit more with extra personal time.
