That's cool and all but that isn't super good. If there is an intruder trying to get into your house or someone walking into your yard or up your driveway(this has happened to me) your dog can bark to alarm you of the situation in case you are asleep or relaxing and don't realize. But yea I wish my dog did that just not so severely.

Mu dog always goes on his back so we can pet his tummy. xD
Thats how i pick a puppy from a litter usually if it feels comfy on his back in my arms though.. lol i have no kids so its the closest thing i got!!
I was told, the one of the signs of a good dog. Pick the puppy that will lay on it's back comfortably. Works every time.
my puppy gets so excited for these training sessions, it encourages me to see how much fun she's having learning something new.
All I did during the video was saying "awwwww"

i was so tired of our lilly biting us all the time and then i used a few tips i learned from the MyDogTraining7.blogspot.com -- videos. it was like night and day; worked so well

We get our first Border Collie in 10 days. I have been reading that Border Collies basically need to be taught jobs/tasks or tricks just for their own sanity. Hence I'm binge watching how to teach them.
I've watched the neighbour's bored Border Collie learn it's own tricks. It learnt to use a squeaky toy to communicate with wild birds up a tree. The Border Collie was teaching the young birds in the nest to vocalise on command. I never would have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes.
Of course another trick the bored Border Collie taught itself was how to get expensive looking bras off their washing line and tear them to pieces.
So it's going to learn tricks whether it's the ones you teach it or other ones is my guess.

I just got a new dog today she's a puppy
Bailey did 'crawl', 'spin' and 'speak' straight up. Even better is that he loved the mental stimulation, especially in the bad weather in winter here, and the attention we were giving him that was not about safety command but fun. Just when we thought our bond couldn't get any stronger it did. Excellent. More please!

My Labrador , named Lucius, knows sit, down, roll over, speak, stay, shake, circle (spin), balancing treats on his nose, wave, and is learning play dead.

Thanks for all your training techniques you've shared. During the pandemic while working from home, I was able to train my puppy to do about 10 new commands and tricks via combination of hand signals and particular words. I'm A-mazed how smart my pup actually is! 🐶

Many thanks, I have been researching "basic dog behavior training" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Jaydenley Doggy Dechlorination - (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some great things about it and my friend got great results with it.

My border collie will be 5 months in a few days and he's been SO hesitant about learning roll over, something about being on his back and flipping over he hasn't liked until tonight he's finally starting to be excited about it! Funny thing is, he LOVES being on his back when sleeping, playing, etc but doing a roll over has been so difficult lol

I taught my dog paw without a treat by picking his paw up and saying "paw! yes! good boy!!!!" patting him a bunch and then kept doing that until I didn't need to pick his paw up. idk how it worked but it worked great!

Hi Zak! I absolutely love all your videos! They were so helpful when we first brought home my Aussie/Border mix. It’s been a year and a few months and we’re doing awesome. Except the only “basic” trick we’re struggling with is speak. She’s not very vocal at all except when scared or territorial and neither of those moods are good for training in her case. I’ve tried videos of all sorts of noises and getting her super excited etc. She just will not bark. Any tips?

I was just teaching my puppy to bring me a ball. She kept bringing it to me! That made me so happy. Then I came across your video and she learned how to shake and spin in 7 minutes.
