Welcome to our channel! We're Carol and Ken, retired professionals turned van life enthusiasts. We share our adventures across the UK and Europe in our trusty camper van, soon to be upgraded to a slightly larger model.
Our goal is to provide a relaxing, honest account of van life, with no scripted drama - just the real, day-to-day experiences of our travels. Many of our viewers find our content calming, and we hope you will too.
We're passionate about wild camping and love to share our knowledge and tips, from staying cool in the van to choosing the right toilet. We're always learning and look forward to sharing more insights when our new van arrives in January.
While we love the freedom of wild camping, we also enjoy supporting local businesses by indulging in delicious local food. Expect to see plenty of one-pan meals and restaurant visits in our videos.
We like historical sites, country homes, towns, villages, and the occasional city. We aim to share interesting facts and stories about the places we visit.
We post new videos every Friday at 6pm UK time, sometimes more often.

We are exhausted to be honest. Booked onto another campsite tonight to rest up for next 2 days. We have lots of sorting out still to do before we are ready for touring. 👍

You're getting spoilt with all those mod cons! Still got my little nv200, and height barriers are still not a problem. Happy camping.
I note you have an sun shelter. Our experience of them is to only use when the weather is settled and calm. If left out I had to get up in the middle of the night and wind it back in due to it rattling when the wind got up 😅. Congratulations! We are pleased for you.

Aren't those fabulous rear window wrapping around just ever, ever so wonderful! Notice your elbows and arms rest comfortably on the upright cushions back there I just love that. Remember in "Beloved Little Red" opening a small curtained window to see what the new day looked like, or opening the side door to see.....now you have colossal wrap around windows...just stunning.
Yes we can people watch to our hearts content. Consort put a huge amount of thought into the lounge area 👍

Lovely new van. Someone will have a great van with your 'little red' we used to have a Fiat which we called Baked Bean, coz of the colour. Happy adventures in your new vehicle.
I would never have taken that car in that state. Enjoy the van, must feel great having so much space.
It was bad but we had no choice as it was the only one they had that was big enough for all the gear. The fuss at the other end over a parcel shelf was also a pain in the bum. The key attraction was they offered a one way drop off
I'm over the moon for you k&c the van is lovely and cosy but with all the bits that make life abit easier comfy bed cooker and alot more room than little red looking forward to new adventures can't wait😊

Lovely to see you both in a bigger space, you soon get used to it! I upgraded my van 4 years ago and I haven't regretted going bigger to a high top, long wheel base one bit. Carol will be going all Gordon Ramsey on us with the luxury of that oven and kitchen 😂 I love that you're offering Little Red to your channel first. I really hope it's a follower that decides to buy and continue the love. Happy camping guys 😊

Sorry your van has a delay. We know what that feels like. Lucky for us that delay allowed us to find Consort. I am a bit stunned that they gave us a date when it would be ready and it happened as said 👍

I felt thrilled for you both, it reminded me of when we swopped our little two berth caravan for a large 4 berth van with an end bathroom, we didn’t know what to do with all the space. Having said that we shall never forget our little two berth and all the pleasure it gave us, the open road was ours, and boy did we enjoy it. I remember I was to long for the bed, but that didn’t stop me enjoying it. Looking forward to seeing your trips in your new van. I wish you all the best.

The van looks absolutely amazing. Well done to you both. Looking at the number of positive comments so far, I think you are going to need those two weeks just to respond 😂. How do you remember to put the step away before driving off and have you considered small folding bikes to allow you to leave the van and explore. As you say, your last van could go anywhere. Oh, if considering folding bikes, it’s the torque you are interested in (70-80nm) not some ridiculously high wattage. 🚐🎁🥂🌍👍
Yes this video is doing well. I think we are in a different sector now with the bigger van. Step automatically retracts on starting the engine but we will get into the habit of manually retracting. We did the whole bike thing years ago when we had caravans. Great fun but a pain in the bum carrying all the security gear you need to stop them getting pinched. Don’t want them on the rear and the garage is too small for fold ups. We will use taxis if we don’t want to or can’t access somewhere with the van.
