Just a notice: u should always let go when u fall because the horse could hurt itself really badly if it doesn't stop. This happened a long time ago but once an inexperienced girl didn't let go of the bridle but the horse was just galloping forward and the horse tripped and its neck was hurt because the girl tried to stop the horse. This might sound absurd but the whole situation was traumatizing for everyone

I've been watching your channel for a while and love your videos, I was wondering if you could give me any tips on cantering as I am a new rider and my brother's teaching me how to ride on his horse, but ever since I've fallen off when going into a canter I tense up whenever he mentions go into a canter so I was just wondering if I could get some tips, would really appreciate it ♥️♥️
I would just try to as relaxed as possible in the walk and trot and don't even think about the canter until you have to. Make sure your legs are tucked under the horses middle so you are not kicking him by accident (been there, done that wouldn't reccomend it) and I would at first begin with just a few strides of canter before you go back into the trot and slowly increase how much you do each time. Obviously try to relax because horses can sence fear and also counting his strides might help you feel more confident. I hope this helps
