The quality of these was amazing, as evidenced by the condition of this low-mileage beauty. The simplicity was such a serious joy. The only thing I prefer of today's cars is the safety.
I'd keep 'em. Most dealers added them to just about every car then. This car listed for let's say $16K. Dealer added pinstripe, car mats, rear mud guards, sunroof visor, fender well trim, door edge guards and "paint protection" for another $1500. You were lucky if you could find a dealer who didn't 'pad' every car like that. Of course, a few years earlier, every Honda sold for well above MSRP, and you had to put your name on a waiting list, with a deposit(!) if you wanted one!
Hey bro nice videos, love them, can I ask you a question, would you recommend buying the Honda Accord 1989 for a daily driver , I'm thinking of buying one, but don't really know if it's is a good idea
Лучьший хонда аккорд са 2 у нас такаяже проворукая после ресталинг , автомат непинается а задняя многорычака как на койловерах стараюсь востоновить в идеал но арегинальными запчастями только б/у щас ищю молдин в арку заднего крыла на 2 клипсах нигде нет а хочется полную аунтетичность клас , унас с синим салоном бархатный вейлюр лучше кожи : жалко што на них хонда неделает ничего нового в оригенале штота испортилось пичти невостоновить;
How is the Accord running now? Don't know how much you have driven it since getting it back to Tampa but is it running ok? I know from previous videos there was rust damage was wondering if the overheating issue is resolved and how the car is doing mechanically.
So far put 3k miles on her no issues. Doing all the maintenance on weekends. But has been running great. Need to do little things hear and there but will have her like she rolled off the assembly line soon.
Vintage Honda's are well worth preserving! The Man Hours that you spent on this have paid off for sure.. Look forward to more on this one!
The 89 Accord is my dream car and my all time favorite, it is perfect in my eyes.

I personally have a 1990 Honda Accord LX sedan in Seattle Silver. I really love yours with the pop up head lights and the pristine interior.
is yours stick or auto?
The first thing I learned about buffing a car is to put the electrical cord over your shoulder so it never touches the paint.
This is my all time favorite car.
Great work.Such a beautiful colour.
very good job for a very good car
Thanks. Working on painting all of the repairs area this month and new videos coming.
Looks fantastic! That pinstripe needs to go. That’s got 1982 Buick written all over it.

Pls put a tape on the black plastic trimming before polishing to avoid swirlmark on them
