Rocket Richard was better than his brother and only won 9 rings. Just because one won more championships does not make one the best player! For example, Chamberlain was a better player than Russell on an individual basis. Rocket Richard was a better player than Henri Richard on an individual basis. Russell and Henri Richard were lucky enough to play on more winning teams. Both hockey and basketball are team sports with individual star and super stars!

Wooden was a great coach, no doubt. But in wrestling, Gable's Iowa teams won 17 national championships in 25 years. So, in any sport, Dan Gable. Not a knock on Wooden, who was obviously very good.
