Ari started with community theater and did Broadway for the show “13”. As much as I love her pop music r&b just suits her and her whistle register is insane. In her early career she got paired to Mariah Carey mostly because of her sound and whistle register. She’s wanted to do and r&b album since the beginning and I’m glad the recent albums especially positions has that. She produces her albums, she does the adlibs the whole nine. Highly recommend checking out the rest of her vevo performances. The studio version is good too but live just hits different

Ari loves R&B music, and her newest album (Positions) has heavy influences from that genre. It’s the most “her” album she’s released.
Her vocals in the verses is reminding me of Amel Larrieux from the 90s group, Groove Theory. Amel’s solo material show this style more. Love it
