All you're going to do is have cops swarming all over Hazelwood looking for what may just turn out to be a kid with firecrackers. Shot spotter is necessary in a place like that. Great to have.
i work in dispatch, it can’t really differentiate. we can usually tell by the amount of rounds, the location and the time of year. real gunshots, fireworks and back firing engines all set off the shot spotter😭😭
This technology doesn't work or they don't care about multiple gun shots in my neighborhood every night. There was a time when you couldn't even pop a fire cracker b4 a slew of officers would show up at your house but, now days you can't even get them on the phone.
