I mostly agree with your list, however there are some things I feel I should nitpick here. Shadow Shroom and Moonflower are the only Shadow family plants in this video that you don't showcase a powered state for. Shadow Shroom's powered state is a stronger poison attack, which would get his placement much higher on the list. Moonflower's powered state boosts her sun production, as well as receiving 25 extra sun produced for up to 4 adjacent shadow plants, which arguably could easily put her in first place. One of your main Weakness points for these plants throughout the video was that the majority of them cannot attack Snorkel Zombie, most attacking plants in the game can't target Snorkel Zombie when he's underwater, and there are plants that easily counter this. One last thing, it baffles me that you've put Conceal-mint in first place when for one, it's an instant use plant, and for two it has more Weaknesses than Strengths lol. Also fun fact: Moonflower's shield blocks Surfer Zombie when he's surfing, Fisherman Zombie's hook, Hunter Zombie's thrown snowballs, Troglodyte (and assumptively Medusa and )'s blocks, Dodo Rider Zombie can't fly over, Excavator Zombie's shoveling ability, Punk Zombie's ability to kick plants a tile back, stops Imp Cannon's imps, can also be used to keep Jurassic Marsh zombies from being launched farther down the lane, this also applies to Infi-nut's shield.

BUT! I really appreciate your concern, you clearly put ur time & knowledge here and i appreciate it. Thank you
The conceal familly is one of my favorite plant classes. Even moonflower can be used as a sun producer without any shadow plants in your deck as she self enhances herself. Two columns of moonflowers gives you an insane ammount of sun and at a very reasonable price compared to a Twin Sunflower strategy. Now imagine what you can do when adding Dusk Lobber and Shadow Pea to the list.
Might be late about this but i'll only rank my top 5 1. ConcealMint its boost is ludicrous especially with moonflower which gives more suns 2. Moonflower my Cute favorite plant, its shield lasts more than wallnut 3. Shadow Pea if used correctly and spammed, it can stall and kill gargs(assuming max lvl m200) and its dragging system can be a clutch 4. Dusk lobber When spammed, it can shred zombies in seconds despite only about to enter the lawn 5. Gloom vine imo its a better version of gloomshroom, i think its still has a dmg value same as gloomshroom(assuming max lvl m200) and combine with murknut and dusk lobber it has a good synergize
Personally, while there have been some reasons to use Nightshade especially in Modern Day early on, I genuinely could not think of a single case where Murkadamia Nut is a good option, especially given its bizarre weaknesses (doesn’t deal damage to machines, has to be actually eaten rather than just close by, needs to be powered by Moonflower for its effect to occur). It’s just Endurian with more set up, and at that point, I'd rather have Endurian or Explode'O'Nut. Murkadamia Nut should've been 10th by a landslide.
Murkadamianut was designed to be a defensive plant, and thus it's purpose is to be eaten like Endurian and Explode-O-Nut. And while it does need a lot of setup, it can do something that Endurian can't, regenerate health and reflect damage based on the zombie's eating speed/damage.
@@Firegaming139-t1p For the cost there are just better options. If you want damage and stalling in one, Explode-o-nut is literally also a seedium and is a better option in every way, and doesn’t require being powered. If you need a fast planting wall, Primal Wallnut is literally an adventure plant and costs less, AND doesn’t need to be powered. If you wanna get technical too, even Kiwibeast is probably a better option as a defensive wall + attacker in one and it became gemium recently. I’d even rather take Infinut for the plant food if nothing else. I’ve never found a situation where Murkadamia does something that isn’t done just as well or easier by other plants
After seeing others do their own ranking, I figured todo the same. Note that the mint will not be ranked and future updates may make my ranking of plants obsolete: 9. Noctarine 8. Grimose 7. Shadow Shroom 6. Murkadamia Nut 5. Gloom Vine 4. Nightshade 3. Dusk Lobber 2. Shadow Peashooter 1. Moonflower
What I like most about the Conceal-mint family is the design, I like the blue and purple design because it look's really great. Every single plant in the Conceal-mint family is great for almost everything, they don't have much weaknesses too. While some other Mint Families are more powerful, Conceal stands out.
Why Grim Rose nothing special? He has secret ability : 1. Can drag Zombie from behind 2. Can do three Drags if powered 3. Drags a Zombie from another Lane (& Damage increased as well PF attack) and then He can do one more drag. Weakness : 1. Can't deal with ton of Zombies in a Lane 2. Can't drag Flying Zombie 3. Having delay each drag & having random priority 4. Instant plant that stays & drag every kind of Zombies encounter First. So bit waste In Early even if the next Zombie just Imp, Basic & Cone Head and any weak Zombies
I do agree for the most part on this, however I would have to disagree STRONGLY saying Shadow-Shroom is 9th. It's main benefit being armor piercing, which is actually great against most zombies that eat. I have looked through many lists in this comment section saying how it is really bad bc it has to be eaten, when technically, yes it does, but not directly. See, you can either plant food it for its poison to hit everything OR Actually be big brain and power it, let a zombie eat it, then hurrikale(Primal Pea works too, but more rng dependent based on knockback) It blows the zombies into a clump which poisons them all, practically killing the lane instantly. It can also affect nearly every zombie like its plantfood would. It doesnt do the most damage still, but 200 sun for 900 AP damage (30 dmg over 30 seconds) is a lot when every plant used in conjunction with it have 10 seconds or less recharge, so you can spam it more than Jalapeño, for example, and kill the majority of the zombies that would be threats with just a few seconds of time. That being said, from every instance this plant is useful in, it makes it on par with dusk lobber at 3rd, bare minimum. Shadow shroom is op in most senses and needs to actually be recognized.

A list after so long... (Sorry if this might sound different that my older ranks) 10. Noctarine Cherry Bomb-fied spikeweed no one wants that, plus who even wanted to constantly use it just to consistently power up shadow plants, when there's a permanent alternative 9. Murk Nut No way bro I don't think someone even uses this, its role is too niche, it felt like trying to play endurian and infi nut but in more complicated way, overall he's trash 8. Nightshade Hard to rank, but eventually I decide to place it here. First of all, unpowered is just a worser way to fend of the early game, so many other cheap solutions are better. Secondly, powered is just too pathetic, I feel it's just a slower peashooter. 7. Conceal Mint I know many people ranked it due to the boosting it does, but like I don't even encounter a setup that e actually uses this to boost, and the ability is just Grimrose but slower... 6. Gloom Vine It's ranked slightly higher cuz of gloom Shroom and gloom walk nostalgia, but talking about the performance, it isn't any much powerful aoe, the damage kinda just sucks up, not even feels like convincing some gloom Shroom copy 5. Grimrose It's not that bad actually, u could use it to defeat some tough early game enemies pretty quick, like All Stars or idk, Zcorp chair racer, problem is that its just not good enough to actually work, it doesn't attack multiple zombies so yeah, the powered version is just a longer version of it 4. Shadow Shroom The one reason of it's high ranking is simple, PLANT FOOD, it may not be great at zombies with naturally high base HP like gargs, but makes up for the fact it can PIERCE armors, and destroy weaklings, making it decent for tile turnip combos. 3. Moonflower I lack words to say, but she is one of the best sun producers and obviously the most common plant for shadow powerup 2. Shadow Pea Can get almost any levels done due to its broken powerup buffs, and the fully powered PF just makes it almost any better than any PF out there, but it's seed packet so it kinda deserves 2nd 1. Dusk Lobber It deals quite large dmg when powered, the multi splash makes it cheaper Melon Pult and mostly works well in many Endless modes, for me I feel it's infinitely better than most of the premium and sees packets here, and she is an adventure plant so everyone can actually use her, overall she is 1st

Grimrose I love his design his basically tangle kelp but in land but I don't like his Power food effect 7. Noctarine Once again I wish this plant can unlock in modern day. 6. Gloomvine I like this plant alot and I enjoy it but his Plantfood effect kinda suck 5. Shadow Shroom I love this plant so much and his costume are cute but anyways his Plantfood effect are the reason why I put this in 5th place 4. Shadow Peashooter His hide ability are kinda annoying and you need 3 moonflowers to activate his Full plantfood effect 3. Conceal - Mint It's like grimrose but in every lane 2. Ranking: 11:Shadow Schroom: Poisony Posing Poison, but still weak. 10: Murkadamia: Okay, he is strong and very spiky, but we need an another plant that power him. 9: Nightshade: Good at meele and ranged fight. 8: Moonflower: Producing sun, and makes power lines. Cool! 7: Dusk lobber: she is powerful, but weak too. 6: Noctarine: Gas powering shadow plants, and also makes poison gas. 5: Gloom vine: shoots in 8 tiles, that cool, and also his powering too. 4: Gimrose: Drags a zombie or three to ground. 3: Shadow peashooter: can shoot at piercing, or normal peas, also can drag zombies. 2: Shadow mint: Power shadow plants, drag zombies down. 1: Gabo: he is a deleted character, and still no info about him, he was the first shadow character. Bc he was no plant, and you called him for help for 2000 coins. He got deleted bc of some players hated him for no reason, and Gabo got deleted. People say Gabo will back and destory Pvz.
I love these shadow plants and the Conceal-mint family because they worked together like a family. Conceal-mint - Mother/Father Moonflower - Eldest Child Dusk Lobber - Second Child Nightshade - Third Child Grimrose - Fourth Child Shadow Peashooter - Fifth Child Murkadamia Nut - Sixth Child Noctarine - Seventh Child Gloom Vine - Eighth Child Shadow-shroom - Youngest Child Edit: I'm also aware that there's a new plant named Tomb Tangler which will be released right after Levitater. I'm guessing it's gonna be part of the Shadow family and for me, it will be like the eighth for me.
@@DuckyTube13 we're actually not sure. It may be part of the Contain-mint family since he can destroy graves like Grave Buster but it has a similar ability to Grimrose and Shadow Peashooter by emitting a slowing fog that has a chance to drag down a zombie into the ground. So I think of it as a Conceal-mint family plant.
I wonder wherre youd put dragon brute, its kinda like a dusk lobber but it also poisons zombies when powerred but shoots much slower then shadow pea and dusk lobber
Out of all of the families, the Conceal-Mint is the most difficult one to rank, because nearly all Plants require one (or two) specific Plants to become anything useful, and two of the others only give them temporary boost.
ill be ranking my top 3 personally (not including conceal-mint cus we all know all the mints are wonderful) first on my list is Murkadamia Nut, when boosted its like Infi-nut but better, Infinut + Durian and when the jelly got eaten up it still got defense 2nd: Shadow peashooter, when boosted, its like cactus but nightshade, can pearce through door/shovels, and counters jester 3rd: Moonflower, the mother of the conceal plants
i will stand by murkadamia being underrated ITS A WALL THAT DOES DAMAGE AND HEALS endurian+infinut=almost best defender in game (cant block like tall nut though)
Conceal mint family has always been my fav since it was released, and they're balancedly OP. And without conceal mint, this is my tier list 1st) Moonflower: The mother of night sun, without her all the other night plants useless 2nd) Shadow pea: drastically OP when enhanced 3rd) Dusk lobber: Her splash damage can attack jester so very good in crowd/hoard
Nightshade deserved better i always use nightshade and moonflower as my main loadout They also helps a lot in the older days cuz the new update made you have to beat big wave beach before unlocking the shadow plants.
My fav Plant Family: 1. Piercing plant 2. Shadow ft. Moonflower 3. Electric. Many times, i think about this 😭 “Strength is weakness. Weakness is strength. Its about strategy. Enjoy ^^”CMIIW
Sun producer, defensive plant, explosive plant, ← you must bring all of these when playing adventure mode or penny pursuit. Enforce and contain(supporter plant), too :)
My ranking for the conceal mint family 11. Noctarine Why bother using it when the boost is not gonna lasted for the entire lvl when u can use moonflower 10. Murkadamia nut A good defense but use primal walnut 9. Gloom vine A weaker gloomshroom but u cant place someone like dusk lobber or moon flower on it bc both of them are used in the back and gloomvine needs to be close like at the middle or front 8. Grim rose Its a good plant to use on gargauntars but cant attack flying zombies 7. Shadow shroom A good counter to snorkel zombie but it cant poison some zombies like medusa 6. Night shade Its a good plant but only when he not powered, his powered form takes 2 hits to defeat a basic zombie making it weaker than the non powered one 5. Dragon bruit A good poison plant and can kill gargauntars w plant food 4. Dusk lobber She absolutely a amazing plant to use and has a good powered form too 3. Moonflower She a good booster for the conceal mint family and u get early in modern day 2. Shadow pea Shadow pea is good but only when powered but is a good plant to use w gloomvine 1. Conceal mint Love how they boost there family w there powered form
Quiz im a conceal mint and like shooting and has a cool hat as an accessory And i am op and does more damage then a peashooter and not drags zombies in to the void what am i?
Gloom Vine should have been in the Poison Family because it is just like gloomshroom but gloomshroom is upgraded Fume shroom and Fume shroom is in the Poison family
Mine: 10th Murkadamia Nut This is just a premium, tankier Endurian. Unpowered is just a wall nut. There is nothing special about this. 9th Grimrose Drags zombies only in its lane. Plant food regrows pollen things but it’s just still kind of bad. 8th Nocturine Doesn’t do that much damage and only lasts for a few seconds. Good with a shadow shroom I guess. 7th Shadow Shroom Needs to be eaten for it to work, good with its special. Goes through armor 6th Nightshade Takes way too long to recharge but it has good power so I’ll give it that. Good if it’s paired with moonflower. 5th Gloom Vine Boosts shadow-plants that are on top of him. Good area damage. 4th Dusk Lobber Has good area damage and okay damage. Has a really good plant food and good when paired with Moon Flower. 3rd Shadow Peashooter Hides when enemies get close and takes them too the ground, the only bad thing is it disappears. Really amazing when with Moonflower. 2nd Moonflower Produces sun and boosts shadow plants literally making them all better. The main one of this family. 1st Conceal Mint Creates dark-portals and boosts every shadow plant. A slightly better moonflower except for a few seconds, lol.
A tip for anybody with Shadow Pea, plant it at the back, so its hide ability doesn't detriment you.

I never heard about gabo. But thanks for sharing

Shadow shroom above nightshade? Might want to revise that…
shadow shroom + plant food will take over the zombies on the lane than nightshade
@pvz2 club theres better alternatives to use your plant food on, like shadow peashooter. Shadow-shroom is only better on zombies with armor
@@WolfPack-gi7br we are comparing nightshade and shadow shroom right
@pvz2 club both have better alternatives in most scenarios for plant food, meaning you really shouldnt even consider their plant food lol
@@DuckyTube13 Shadow Shroom is strong yes, but it's only really useful when powered, otherwise you're wasting a PF.

I love these shadow plants and the Conceal-mint family because they worked together like a family.
Conceal-mint - Mother/Father
Moonflower - Eldest Child
Dusk Lobber - Second Child
Nightshade - Third Child
Grimrose - Fourth Child
Shadow Peashooter - Fifth Child
Murkadamia Nut - Sixth Child
Noctarine - Seventh Child
Gloom Vine - Eighth Child
Shadow-shroom - Youngest Child
Edit: I'm also aware that there's a new plant named Tomb Tangler which will be released right after Levitater. I'm guessing it's gonna be part of the Shadow family and for me, it will be like the eighth for me.
I thought Tom Tangler is contain mint family
@@DuckyTube13 we're actually not sure. It may be part of the Contain-mint family since he can destroy graves like Grave Buster but it has a similar ability to Grimrose and Shadow Peashooter by emitting a slowing fog that has a chance to drag down a zombie into the ground. So I think of it as a Conceal-mint family plant.

first on my list is Murkadamia Nut, when boosted its like Infi-nut but better, Infinut + Durian and when the jelly got eaten up it still got defense
2nd: Shadow peashooter, when boosted, its like cactus but nightshade, can pearce through door/shovels, and counters jester
3rd: Moonflower, the mother of the conceal plants
Finally someone gets how good murkadamia is
Bro, shadow pea is the best plant.

Yes but Shadow peashooter is a multi plant. But everyone have other oponion, so i accept what others say.

No they not.
They are special plants, so SHUT UP.

Shadow-Shroom shouldn’t even be a concealmint member.
He is part of it, since he's shadow plant.
@@NightmareTwivineSparkle6139 yeah but Ail-Mint focuses on Fungus, mushrooms, and poison. Shadow-Shroom has all of those traits.
@@etherealkirby the reason why is because he needs moonflower to powered him. While ail mint plant doesn't.
@@NightmareTwivineSparkle6139 true but it just doesn’t make sense too me
An ail mint plant that can be powered by moonflower? Strange, I don't agree
Moonflower: Shadow Sun Producer (and booster)
Nightshade: Shadow Thrower
Shadowshroom: Shadow Poisoner (and Mushroom)
Dusk Lobber: Shadow Lobber
Grimrose: Shadow Voider
Shadow Peashooter: Shadow Peashooter
Murkadamia Nut: Shadow Nut
Gloom Vine: Shadow Vine
Noctarine: Shadow Instant-use
Conceal-mint: Shadow Queen
Hellooo, Moonflower's the queen. She have sailormoon's staff.
Night shade manages to be the only 1 better than they're shadow version
2nd place, not bad for the only shadow plant that can't damage zombies
well, i mean she's an alpha on the family
@@DuckyTube13 That's why I like moonflower, it has no damage but has the ability to boost shadow plant
Sister, she's night time. Also our sister.
dusk lobber is number 1 for me
I kind of want them to make a gloom shroom that’s part of the conceal mint family. That’d be sick
Forgot shadow fanilla from pvz2c but still cool
ma boi nectarine on the thumbnail is looking, GOOD
honarable mention for shadow fannila it exists i guess in pvzc2

Conceal mint family has always been my fav since it was released, and they're balancedly OP.
And without conceal mint, this is my tier list
1st) Moonflower: The mother of night sun, without her all the other night plants useless
2nd) Shadow pea: drastically OP when enhanced
3rd) Dusk lobber: Her splash damage can attack jester so very good in crowd/hoard
Don't you mean she's the Princess? She have sailor moon's staff as her costume.
Something that wasn't shown:
Shadow Peashooter combined with Gloom Vine, you can lock a Mecha Football *forever* if he comed close to them

My ranking for the conceal mint family
11. Noctarine
Why bother using it when the boost is not gonna lasted for the entire lvl when u can use moonflower
10. Murkadamia nut
A good defense but use primal walnut
9. Gloom vine
A weaker gloomshroom but u cant place someone like dusk lobber or moon flower on it bc both of them are used in the back and gloomvine needs to be close like at the middle or front
8. Grim rose
Its a good plant to use on gargauntars but cant attack flying zombies
7. Shadow shroom
A good counter to snorkel zombie but it cant poison some zombies like medusa
6. Night shade
Its a good plant but only when he not powered, his powered form takes 2 hits to defeat a basic zombie making it weaker than the non powered one
5. Dragon bruit
A good poison plant and can kill gargauntars w plant food
4. Dusk lobber
She absolutely a amazing plant to use and has a good powered form too
3. Moonflower
She a good booster for the conceal mint family and u get early in modern day
2. Shadow pea
Shadow pea is good but only when powered but is a good plant to use w gloomvine
1. Conceal mint

the only thing good about him is the plant food, non-eating-plants zombies destroy him

Wall plants here: Murkadamia nut
Bad plants here: Unpowered murkadamia nut
Yep i had a feeling that Conceal Mint will be number 1
I believe gloom vine should be ranked higher due too it being a better Kiwi beast or Phat Beat
Gloom Vine should have been in the Poison Family because it is just like gloomshroom but gloomshroom is upgraded Fume shroom and Fume shroom is in the Poison family
every mint is actually the strongest plant aka plants family

I am surprise that Shadow shroom is in 9 how op his plant food was
Ail-mint when?
Mine:
10th Murkadamia Nut
This is just a premium, tankier Endurian. Unpowered is just a wall nut. There is nothing special about this.
9th Grimrose
Drags zombies only in its lane. Plant food regrows pollen things but it’s just still kind of bad.
8th Nocturine
Doesn’t do that much damage and only lasts for a few seconds. Good with a shadow shroom I guess.
7th Shadow Shroom
Needs to be eaten for it to work, good with its special. Goes through armor
6th Nightshade
Takes way too long to recharge but it has good power so I’ll give it that. Good if it’s paired with moonflower.
5th Gloom Vine
Boosts shadow-plants that are on top of him. Good area damage.
4th Dusk Lobber
Has good area damage and okay damage. Has a really good plant food and good when paired with Moon Flower.
3rd Shadow Peashooter
Hides when enemies get close and takes them too the ground, the only bad thing is it disappears. Really amazing when with Moonflower.
2nd Moonflower
Produces sun and boosts shadow plants literally making them all better. The main one of this family.
1st Conceal Mint
Creates dark-portals and boosts every shadow plant. A slightly better moonflower except for a few seconds, lol.
It's called stamens. Not pollen.
