4:17 this should put into perspective how unrealistic it is to collect every card or at least every version of every card. I have about 1500 cards and I'm missing 38 cards(not including unreleased promos). you collected ~5000 more cards and are still missing a few. that's why I think the best thing the average player could be doing is to open packs until they get the cards they *need* or have enough point to craft those cards. whichever comes first. they clearly made TCG Pocket to be a slow game that's not meant to be easily "completed". even for the players that spend a moderate amount of money.

Tip and trick, use pack points to bring a pack(mewtwo, char, or pika)down to no missing cards from their pool, then you can focus on the other packs. Paying attention to which missing cards are in which packs keeps you from unnecessarily openings packs you've completed. You can see which pack pool they are in from the collection screen.
I'd say only focus on one pack until you get the fully fledged deck that's supposed to come from it (mewtwo pack is the best right now for Mewtwo Ex and Venusaur Ex) Then once you have a deck, I'd recommend just playing that one and save your hourglass collection for the next set in January
I went crazy on mewtwo packs until I got everything I needed and everything else came easier bc I at least had the mewtwo deck complete in the meantime

Absolutely love this game. You can also check which pack the card you're missing are in. I'm missing 19 from Zard pack, 15 from Mewtwo pack and 9 from Pikachu pack. The 3 gold cards can be in any pack art.
@Leonardocn98 head to 1: My Cards 2: slide slider towards the search icon 3: hit search 4: scroll down to "Card Dex View Options" and slide both on and click ok. This will show all card you need. 5: Click on any card you still need and look to the left of the card number, it says what pack its in either Charizard Pikachu or Mewtwo. Hope this helps

Gold resets at 10pm pst so u could open ur 720 gold and then at 10 pst u can spend ur next 720, also u can only get a certain amount of shop tickets from fighting in a day so if u fight rhe next day or after reset u can get the shop tickets again, when a pack glitters that means there is a 2 star or higher in the pack, also if u go to the cards u need if u scroll down it'll tell u what packs u can find then in so u have a higher chance of pulling them, also bottem right when opening packs u can tap and hold the button and itll spam open the cards for u so u dont have to tap so much
I'm loving this Game, I've had decent luck without buying gold and only paying for the premium pass. I almost have the main 226 complete and have the mewtwo and charizard immersive art. I'll probably start buying gold to try for all the secret rares after new packs get released. I never played the TCG before this game but I'm enjoying the Speed battle style and have since started getting into the live TCG a bit.

imagine if TCG Pocket had duplicate protection until you have 2 of each card. if they had that, I think it would've been realistic to get all the cards by spending less than $100. sadly that will never happen since they're making too much money by not having it. despite having a daily spending limit.
This is absolutely INSANE... over 7500 cards attempting to collect 300 different cards is absolutely bullshit odds and the fact that Leon has poured the absolute maximum of real world currency into the game to get these shitty odds really puts me off playing... If that's Leon's odds then what's the point in anyone else playing?
I was lucky to get a god pack on the second or third day without paying money. I didn't realize just how rare it was at the time. Haven't seen another one since, and I've contributed $40 to the game.

The packs will either make a sound when you open them or a rainbow will shoot out of the top when you get something rare in it.
if this happens it means its guaranteed, although you can still get anything without seeing sparkles come out of the pack
