Your rendition of this song is absolutely wonderful. That video of you playing it in the fields inspired me to pick up a banjo! Thanks for putting out a lesson, and all the best at USMC OCS. You've got this!
What an excellent parting gift. "I like my version the best." You crack me up, love it. Godspeed at OCS, *almost* Marine! Maybe I'll have this down by the time you get back.
It turned out amazing. Theres a lot of it too so I'll probably eat the rest tomorrow with some sweet tea. Its nice and buttery but the noodles are just toothy enough. It's very good for my first try.
@@felixnebois @felixnebois i.imgur dot com/IQnziqV.png Here, it's not the best ever but it'll do. Play in the order of the orange numbers under each section. Between most parts the double shuffle is used as a filler, where you pluck a string (3rd in this case), pull off on the 2nd fret of the first string (without actually strumming it) and then do a strum-thumb. Listen to Knox's other video on the same song to see how he uses the double shuffle as a filler. I've included the alternative intro at the bottom from this video. Probably not an exact match but enough to get you going. Good luck! Oh, the repeat 4x is just that small pink section, repeat that part of the tab 4 or so times and then that section is done and you can move on to the next part in the order. TH-cam wasn't happy about the link so replace dot with a . and remove the spaces.

Prayers while you are in OCS. Thank you for sharing brother.
I can already play this song and improve it, sort of on the fly, but I'll leave this here for the algorithm to see.
