    I had the PVE 37 installed in my home about a year ago. It's no louder than my central vacuum cleaning system.

      How much did it cost?

      @Gwaithmir 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @@michaelt779 The cost of the 3-floor model was $60,000. I had to spend an additional $15,000 for structural modifications to accommodate the unit. This included removal of two stairways, converting the spaces into rooms, and electrical work. Due to advanced arthritis and advancing years, I can no longer deal with stairs. The elevator was worth every penny I paid for it.

      Have you had any issues with the glass streaking? Did you order with clear or tinted polycarbonate? Tinted was standard but they added a clear option at some point in the past couple years. I talked to a couple long time owners and they both said zero maintenance other than a seal which I think was like a $20 part.

      @@fakegoldcoins I ordered the clear polycarbonate because most of the elevator tube is enclosed within walls. Dust sometimes clings to the inside of the cab because of static electricity, but it's easily removed with a vacuum cleaner and soft brush attachment. I've had my elevator for just over a year and have had only a few minor issues that were corrected during scheduled maintenance visits.

    What I would wish if I were to invest in one of these is if it had a floor selection panel on the inside so you could skip floors without having to hit the button twice and Im assuming only the call buttons have the ability to make the elevator car skip floors if needed

      maybe this one you got just has the one button system because it seems to only serve 2 floors and multifloored ones actually do have floor selection on them

    That's the fastest elevator I've ever seen installed in a home.

      It went in quick too, just loud.

    You said it is loud. A simple fix is having absorbent material, cloth, etc., to make it sound proof. Higher tech would use sound dampening glass or plastics, or dual window. Just a thought, if it's your creation.

      Or you can have the vacuum motors in a separate box on the roof of the house and two 4" PVC pipes to connect to the elevator itself.

      I'm thrilled actual sound is in this video. So many are covered up with loud music.

    Nice motor going up.

    Please Mark can you tell me what is the total power of the vacuum pump in liters per minute or per hour? If it’s not a secret, I’d love to try doing a DIY project. It seems to me that it has three motors with about 4.5 kW but because the consumption is a relative thing, I only need the data L / min or L / h. I am grateful to you in advance.
