What exactly did you have to do to get the barrel to fit? I have a tomahawk c that I want to add a comp to

I had to be very patient! 🤣 The comp makes such a HUGE difference on the how soft the pistol shoots now. I actually found a custom Glock barrel maker out of Montana called Jarvis Inc. I sent my Comp, slide and barrel to them in order to confirm it is a Glock barrel (as Mr. Andrew Jarvis was not familiar with BUL Armory). With the Comp and slide, he machined a custom length barrel for me. You can pick if you want the barrel fitted to your slide (which I highly recommend since they have the slide) and PVD coated. Warning, it is not cheap, but I think it is well worth it. He did an amazing job on the timing of the threads for the comp. jarvis-custom.com/
If there were ever to be a Zombie Apocalypse, I know would grab my Axe FS Hatchet over my Glock 19. I love shooting this pistol!

The Tomahawk C is a Glock 19 Gen 3 clone. There are all kinds of aftermarket parts. The Magill's Glockstore has a Glock 19 Extra Heavy Tungsten guide rod that I like. It helps add weight to your non-reciprocating mass and slightly reduce felt recoil. It is a little pricey, but when you want to squeeze out a little extra performance and comfort, I am all for it.

OEM guide rod spring is 17lbs. I feel that is the proper spring weight until you add the comp. Once you add the comp, the gas cycles different and the OEM spring is too heavy to allow for proper cycling. You can easily tell if your ejection pattern of your ammo casing is inconsistent. It should eject at the same angle every time. If not, swap out the spring to around 15lbs. I buy all my springs from NDZ Performance. I buy it from its ebay store because they usually include free shipping in its pricing.

did you use the Gen 3 comp version or 4?

@@Jrock628 Actually, neither. This slide accepted the Glock 19 GEN 5 comp perfectly. Only problem was I has to commission a custom length Glock 17 Gen 4 barrel, as this slide is slightly shorter than the Glock 17 OEM slide. I also had to sand the front of the dusk cover a little wider on the frame. Thanks for watching 👀!!!!

Do I need another attachment for it to be put on ?

It threads on, but a Glock 17 threaded barrel is too long for the BUL Armory slide. So, I found a company I'm Montana that made me a custom length match grade Glock 17 threaded in silver PVD. Expensive, but I love shooting it. Softest pistol I own so far (but, I haven't shot my TAC PRO yet).
Thanks for watching and reaching out! Much appreciated!

Yoooo how do you like it ? I have really thought about getting one but can only find the sliver slide …

I love it! After getting a custom-length barrel for the comp, it shoots as soft as the TAC PRO. Full length of the barrel with the comp is exactly 5". A well made Gucci Glock.
