    20 years ago I lived in NZ for 7 months as a college student. I just visited Maui and on the flight back downloaded “Collapse” and started reading chapter 2 & 3. My wife just got me her book. I can’t wait!

    I enjoyed reading Sea People, in fact I read it twice to dig further into the footnotes and the references. There are still unanswered questions which adds interest to the subject of Polynesian navigation. I hope the Polynesian school systems have recognized the value of Polynesian navigation in their STEM education.
