Some of the pictures I saw where you captured his eyes it’s as if he knew you were watching him & he wanted you to share his journey,his beautiful blue eyes look right into your soul. Shaman is truly a star & my wish for him,his family & all mustangs of the Steens mountains & everywhere remain together & always free as they should & were meant to be. I can also see you writing a book solely about Shaman & the many lessons he has to share with people he very much has both the look & personality of a strong,confident yet calm & gentle leader he’s a wise Chief in every way;of course I’d read about all the horses if you wrote a full book on them but Shaman especially,I can definitely see that one photo of him where it looks like he’s flying towards the camera,flaxen mane blowing in the wind,as the cover of an amazing book. I’m glad he was able to go home again thank you so much for sharing this with us,it was amazing I got very emotional watching especially when he realized he was free for good such a tear jerker of a moment.❤️❤️🐴🐴

I agree! Most of these horses could be in a quarter horse show and compete with the best of them. These horses have beautiful heads and their markings are wild! Shaman is just stunning!

Beautiful horse and video, but sometimes people stink. This stallions life path was messed up by people. Nice to see him starting a new band by the end of the video
The wild can be rough, but by the looks of him after his stint at the blm corrals, it’s worse off in there. I’m so glad when these beautiful creatures get to stay free or find good loving homes or sanctuary. I wish the journey was more humane for them if round ups need to happen. Beautiful ⚘⚘⚘Shaman dedication for wild mustangs I loved owned horses since a child I hope to never loose thier scent that each one holds I may not ride again but my memories will always hold special place for horses. Watching this film reminded me as a child watching movie of wild Stallions or black beauty being my one day so grateful that God blessed me to own in my lifetime.. The only thing I didn't understand while watching hearing tell the story of this magnificent Stallion is what do you mean by bait catch ? Does it refer bringing them in to check thier health update thier records.....

We know of the likeliness of the solid dark fillies he and Granite had before he was captured- Ash, Shadow, Ember, and Tinder. The mare Jocelyn he acquired fall of 2019 had a foal too, but was not seen after it was born. I'm sure there are others, but we just don't know.
OMG ghettoyeti50 Thunderhead was and still is one of my favourite books of all time. I owned it when I was just 14, read it that many times I can't count. I don't know what happened to the book but I would love to read it again. It's such an old book I doubt if I'll ever find it again 😒😥

Near the end of the video, you can see a couple new additions :) That was just a couple weeks ago, so now he's got the mare Jocelyn and her colt since summer 2019, and now he's got what appears and mare and her older foal, both still in their winter fuzzies.
We've been telling them for years and still our horses our being slaughtered. We need to have a all out protest. I don't think anything less is going to work.

Correct different Herd Management Areas and different states. Picasso was from the Sand Wash Basin range/HMA in Colorado, and Shaman is from the South Steens range in Oregon. But they do both have that something special
