When she watched your video she often spoke about the horses she had in Germany when she was a young girl. Thank you again for this lovely video. I still watch it often and will continue to do so.❤
@@jonaeflure very sorry for your loss. That was such a sweet thing of you to do for her. My mother was also from Germany also, she and my grandmother and aunt fled ww2 berlin and came to america. She loved horses too but all she had was a rocking horse she didnt get to ride because it would make noise and they were hiding Jews. But she got me a spring horse when I was a child and would take me riding at a local stable. My father moved us to Arizona and got us horses and she got to have her dream and made it mine too and I got to go riding with her. We fell into financial problems and had to leave AZ and our horses behind when I was only 18. But it is a love we always shared and those happy memories. My mother died 2 years ago, but just before she did I got to take her for a visit to a stable I was doing farriery at. I'm so greatful for my mom for passing on her love of horses to me.

My mother's family also fled during WWll to their grandparents farm. That's where the horses were. I'm glad horses bring back fond memories of your mother as they do for me. Your mother must have been in her 90's? Mine was 93 when she passed. I couldn't help but notice you called your mother "mother". We also grew up calling our mother "mother". I never really understood why we never called her mom but we called our father daddy. Even to this day I call my daddy "daddy". German upbringing was quite different than most Americans have. I loved my mother greatly but she never said I love you unless I said it to her. I hope your mother had a easier time sharing her feelings with you.🥰

I was more interested in the working kind of cowboys and I have dreams of riding on a cattle drive or just riding the open land around the west. I want so much to love this, but the overhead scenes of horses running below only means that they are frightened and running away from the drone or helicopter which is chasing them 😞
May I suggest better quality sound? The music is too chaotic for headphones. Sounds like AM radio. I would run this video all the time if the music was better quality. YT has great free music that has high quality playback. I love horses and music😊

Some great footage, some not so great. The use of drones in some scenes should be considered wildlife harassment as the herd is clearly startled and upset by their presence. Also, in one scene the drone is pushing a herd very near and potentially into a farmer's crop.
I think drones would be okay. It would just be like a weird looking bird to them. Horses run roughly around 35km a day (22 miles) so they cover a lot of ground :)
@@arvella you do realize that flying drones over wildlife is illegal in many states? It is considered harassment and I can tell you, as a horse owner myself, I would not appreciate it.
