Is there a way to hook up the rear part or the bench so to have it completely vertical as we used to do on reimo style bench? It was useful to use the back of the van as a Wc.
Hi no official way to hook up, i have used a bungee cord in the past so I can carry tall items. Best to put one at the top around the head rest and also one at the bottom so not to pop out out of the bracket if up when driving. Hope this helps and thanks for watching Chris
The California is a great camper it’s just a shame Vw have not bothered to offer a long wheelbase version, that would then be my perfect camper, if like us you own a large dog that’s the deal breaker because the California just hasn’t the needed night floor space for a dog Please VW go build a Long wheelbase one!
It is shameless expensive, yes.But it is just great also.And beeing a car of "normal" size wich fits anywhere you go with or park your every day car is a huge plus for me.Who wants to sail around in these huge motorhomes?

What happened to the mattress to cover the bed? Is missing? Is the bottom bed comfortable enough without it? Many Thanks

Inverter in this van utterly pointless. Way to much money for a swb van. Not good enough vw
