Never even heard of Vetiver Patchouli before. Got my sample in today and your taste in fragrances is spot on yet again.
Initially I get Terre d’Hermes knocking boots with Grey Vetiver in a field of carrots. An outdoorsy take on an iconic genre of fragrances.
You're exactly right with those comparisons.
Terre Parfum and Grey Vetiver Parfum are two of my favourites. I find Vetiver Patchouli takes the best aspects of both, combines them and adds that awesome carrot note.
It isn't reinventing the wheel or anything, not by a longshot, but something about it is just unique enough that it just flicks that primal switch in my brain the way very few fragrances can.

Another Loewe fan! Good taste in perfumery, I see.
I love Solo. It reminds me a bit of L'Air du Desert Marocain - like a summery, fresher version.
I haven't tried Costume National but I understand it was the inspiration for Chopard's Oud Malaki.
@@realscentreview costume national Homme and Oud Malaki are Dominique Ropion creations and are remotely similar.
I was referring to Costume National I (for Italy), this scent is really amazing. Please, try it.
