Please stay safe and keep your fur family safe also. Dogs love snow, it's beautiful. I think God created ❄ snow for the dogs 🐕. My uncle fished in the Truckee River, they lived in Sparks.
I believe that in the late 1950's a passenger train was buried in a blizzard and that there have been massive snowstorms there for as long as anybody remembers. So, what they are getting is a normal snowstorm for that area. Union Pacific's snow fighting fleet is located in Truckee.
@@DARWINZOO. This is about 18 inches max ( recorded snowfall of the last 24 hours) where this was recorded around town. Much of the top layer of snow was blown off by high winds ( look at the roofs, vs the ground coverage). A very nice, above average storm, but not crippling. The Truckee Tahoe area might receive another 26 inches by Sunday at 11pm….6-9 feet in town ( as the headlines have touted) ? Highly unlikely…..the desolation wilderness might get 6 feet, along with the resorts. We definitely need the snowpack and the snow means business for the area , so it’s definitely a blessing. Stay safe!
@shawnmann9491 question I saw a business owner shoveling snow. It looked powdery to me. I'm Boston had to stay at prep school [trust me not great location in the woods, for getting out] in our Blizzard of.. damn my memory..78?
Those Honda hydrostatic drive tracked snowblowers are some of the best walk behind snowblowers ever built. I’ve had two in my lifetime and they will literally pull like a tank and push through heavy snow effortlessly.
No we can't have them open we need mother nature to have at least one to 300 inches of snow 6 to 9 ft more and then already have. Then you can open. Up to 6 in an hour😂
Rediculous comment. This weather is very unusual, Minn. I'm in UP Michigan. same. Usually we have pipes freezing in homes, 300" snow. This is a freak winter. Truckee looks more like noral UP Michigan. Enjoy, Truckee. What we say in UP is, * wATER TABLE* look on bright side.
From here in the Northeast, good luck everyone!!!
Lol
They always say "I'm not living in Massachusetts! Snow!"

What’s for supper ?
Your wife’s ass
All this snow's 🌨️ doing is adding more weight to the fault lines. Disaster on disaster for the left coast.
Jesus christ
Just think! Soon, all those snow blowers, generators, will have to be battery powered if you live in Comufornia!!
Hate on hater! Sorry your ass is too broke to afford my beautiful state!
