At my age and physical condition now, using a trailer like your A-Liner is the ticket. You can have a good structure for weather, security and comfort plus the ability to step outside and enjoy the outdoors with a fire, some great food (which ALWAYS tastes better when cooked outside) and just hanging out taking in the world of nature. I may get my shit together and do some truck camping out of my Tahoe for a few days.
In my T103, I only need to land 2 shots and I will make credits even if killed. As a tomato, I pick tanks have the cheapest repair costs to try to ensure making profits.
I use EVEN 90 for my credit grind. Spotting is free, you dont have shoot much and you can still end up on top. AND it also has close to zero repair cost even if you get killed. People usualy dont thing about it much, but the repair cost affects credit grind more than you would think.
I don't know how your 130 pm behaves, but mine has complete bulls*it gun handling missing half of fully aimed shots with its notorious SU moments. Skorp on the other hand has a beautiful gun and a fully rotatable turrer even if the cammo is worse
Hardly playbthese days. When I first started my m44 was my go to credit maker, not anymore as it is now useless. My Scorp g now is. Carry around 5 premium rounds in it.
I have both the Skorp G and the SU-130, and I prefer the SU more. Skorp seems way more derpier these days, less reliable. I agree you don't need to fire much gold ammo, but it doesn't stop the try hards from doing it though. When playing my Skorp or SU, I get hit by gold shells from both regularly.
Disclaimer: I play TDs and Arty primarily I use Automatic Fire Extinguisher in everything (buddy explained how it's seldom used and can save HP faster than manually doing it) except arty. Arty runs food. Besides those, I use small repair and small medical. I rarely lose credits in anything unless I spam premium ammo and miss. Even in Tier 10, if you don't bugger your shots, you'll make credits with premium ammo.
I totally agree. I have both the Skorpion G and the SU130PM. I prefer the SU. I use to give Wargaming a lot of money, but no more. I don't play as much as I use to but still enjoy it once in a while. Love the channel Claus! Keep em coming!
The KanJPz 105 is the german tank you're talking about I suspect. The reg ammo has 268-258 pen but the alpha is a little low at 390. I have mine down to .26 dispersion and the round speed is insane at 1478. If you don't have one think of the e25 but with a good gun and that's close. Did I mention the 70 top speed and the 50.56 camo? It's a speedy little credit maker.
I agree with you Claus regarding TDs and i will also add “SHREK” and STRV S1 has the biggest pen for premium tier 8 tds, i only carry 2 premium sheels on it. For Heavies i will use Defender, E75 TS, Lowe-big regular pen and also T-34-big regular pen. HWK german premium light can make credits and has a nice mix of ammunition :)
My dear Klaus, a worthy tier 8 medum credit maker is the M47 Iron Arnie and for heavies the Skoda T56 and E 75 TS. Must agree with your 130PM selection, tops of all IMO. The ShKPTK-TVP 100 is a close second for making credits with its inexpensive and excellent ammo.
Over the years, the Lowe has done well for me. Nothing over the top as I'm average at best, but it's consistent. My best credit maker is NOT a T8, it's the T5 Leafblower!

Hi Claus, yes i use the Skorpion to make credits i only load small consumables and only regular ammo and make an avg of 30 - 40 k per game(if it is not a blow out). :)
Make a ton of credits running my Nomad. Glass cannon but definitely generates a lot of credits. APCR standard round is nice and if a light or med shows up a HESH round can be used to make them regret their life choices.
I am the most tight fisted person in world of tanks, I don't even like putting consumables on my tanks just to try and make credits for the bigger tier tanks. Thanks for the advise Clause, a pleasure as always watching
My favorite TD/sniper at T8 is still the UDES 03. I think that it's slightly better than the Skorpion G. The SU is just a little limited overall, though it has a great gun. But my favorite premium? The EVEN 90, without a doubt. Solid credit maker, lots of fun, and never two games the same.
I bought the SU-130 and loved it but had constant teir 10 games recently making it a struggle to make allot. The free ts5 I got for me is peak in terms of me making money and having fun absolutely love it. Recently got the hellcat 105 which I’m learning to play and for me another great tank. I think the scorpion or the STRV S1 will be my next premium.
Clause sleeps on the American scorpion check it out! It has very good pen and damn near perfect camo rating with net and crew. Plus it has a low profile and realistic moving turret.
The XM66F is 10x funnier to play than Scorpion. And made good credits too. But with the game nowadays, you make credits in tier 6-7 at most, and spend like a bastard in tier 8, 9 or 10.
I bought the Scorpion G the year it came out to make credits, and it does a decent job. Before the HE nerf, I used to make decent credits with my M44, but those days are long gone.
i like my KANJpz105 pros for it are concealment, speed,high velocity gun. Cons fixed gun, very low armour.Probably more but those are my top pro/con items
I just got the Skorpion from the million pugs and am making good credits with it. So kinda free. But for my best free rank it's the T103. The one on that is t10 and can hammer anything once #2 is loaded
I have always liked my Super Pershing for credit making, The regular rounds are only 255 per round, and it seems to make good credit even in losses. Also has Premium Matching Making so never sees Tier 10. But is does see it's fair share of Tier 9 and struggles and struggles with $hitting RNG Syndrome. It does have a person crew so can be a good trainer.
Agree with your selection claus i switch up what i do camp or hunt by what i see haven't played much as i had other things going on taking me away from the game
All fair points, well put but it's all very random. I ground the SU 130 PM, during an event. The crew is excellent but its performance random. Ie I can't hit/pen a barn door at 50m, tap 2 and I hit the capola at 500m. Guess I still need practise at aiming. Maybe ill get it in the next 40k games.
While I was poor I cursed WG for being that strict on credits. Now thankfully I have 9 or 10 t8 premiums. Su 130 pm is workhorse for credits for reasons that you've said,surpisingly Caliban that I bought 2weeks ago is also great for credits, things like Cs Lis that is pre designed to run with premium shells is out of party, Vk 75.01k is trash bin and Type 59 is mystery why did I bought it, maybe cuz of skin.
For T8 heavy I would choose a Lowe. No T8 heavy does great at T10 but the Lowe is competitive otherwise. Good pen with standard ammo and decent matchmaking.
SU-130PM by far. The Russian bias on that is in full force. I bought the Skorpion a year after it first came out. Of course it was a beast, then after a couple of years my .28 gun would kill gophers by the dozens, sent shots to the North Pole and bounce off the ass end of lights (I kid you not). It is an incredibly frustrating TD overall, but when WOT decides to cut me a break, it can still be a beast.
Sorry Claus, agree to disagree - I make the most credits with regular ammo in my Bourrasque, and small consumables - takes more skill and effort than TDs for sure, but you can make it
How about just avoid tier 8 and above, I got a few tier 8 tech tree tanks and it just sucked, even if I had a good battle I lost credits, I've sold them now only play up to tier 7, no need for premium tier 8 or having to spam gold to get any kind of good performance, I bought a tier 6 premium and not a good one the AC4 Experimental Aussie tank and still enjoy it
The SU 130 PM has much better concealment and it doesn't stick way up in the air like the Skorpion. Because staying un-spotted is so important, I'd say the SU is the way to go. It's a way better tank than the Skorpion .

Somua SM is a decent credit maker for the ht flavour 😉 Also, lately I've been choosing Skorp instead of SU 130 (even though I enjoy SU more!), because of mooobileeety.
The TS5 is also a good credit maker but it's dependant on mm and map. The Skoda tier 8 ht is also a veeery good credit maker, but then again, when you meet tier 9s & 10s you'll have to "dab that 2 key, oooh my days" .. from time to time.
Low tier I love the M10 RBFM. Cheap tier 5 tank destroyer, only 1500 bonds I think. So its easy for a free player to get fairly early on with mission awards.

I don't have the TD but it looks solid and from what I've seen its a great FTP tank.

Elc even makes a ton of credit if you like being a scout.
It also makes an excellent ambush sniper as well. Load gold, watch your enemies cry.
When I use to play and before the arty nerf. Tier 7 arty was my go to for credit making.

The break-point when playing like this is 4 shots. The thing is, even in most t10 games, the first 4 shots are usually the majority OF your shots.

Made credits in my Iron Arnie. However the trick is to find soft tanks to shoot at and the sides of heavy tanks.
I love the skorp. It's not the OP demon it used to be but it's still pretty formidable and is a good credit earner, especially in Frontline.

Like you said the Rheinmetall Scorpion or the copy and paste Scorpion G and IMO the ShPTK TVP are great credit makers.

SU-130pm and surprisingly the T-34-3 which has preferential match making, makes good coin if you stay off the 2 key.
I love the Skorpion G but I have a bad win rate in it. I can't dominate on the battlefield. Maybe because I don't learn enough from Claus' greatness.

Type 5 Ka-Ri Japanese td is the best! A fantastic tank, great gun and hits really hard. I think its a but underrated, but I love that tank!

Claus take a type 34 tier V drive in the lake. You will make credits. One of the cheapest repair cost in the game.
With all those credits - see if there is a comb in the premium shop.

tier 8 my goto prem are the Lowe, Skorp Russian TD, Lowe has nice gun , turret, some armour, a bit slow. Tier5 the Germaan med V/IV

I don't own either of those TDs. I have faced them both plenty of times and they both seem pretty dangerous to me. I've had good luck with the GSOR.

I really like my Lowe in T8 hvy premium. It's got solid armor, a very accurate gun and good pen. In T10 battles I play it like a td.

Free is best t49 derp .cost 15 k to repair .but dont..its broken ..they used to say su 152k 1 pen equals 100 k silver..

Even with premium rounds I bounce, fail to penetrate, or get ghosted, with my tier eight premium tanks.
I never load and shoot gold...I also never do really good. I watch your videos WAY more than I play the game.
