There is a certain deepness to Cullen’s voice in the first movie that was never present in any of the others. That was the perfect version of it. So heavy, sharp, and deep, with a pinch of robotics to it

I Truly Love Peter Cullen’s Voice in Rise of The Beast and I Love That you can hear The Age in Peter Cullen’s Voice and I’m hoping that doesn’t do any De Aging for any future Transformers Movie because Hearing Peter Cullen’s Age in his Voice as Optimus Prime shows how much Peter Cullen is a Veteran Voice Actor.
God now side by side you can really tell what Peter meant about what he said with how he had to deliver his lines in bumblebee compared to everything else 😭
One thing I love about Peter’s voice acting in Age of Extinction, and you can see it perfectly reflected in this video during the transition from Dotm to AoE- right off the bat Optimus’ pitch is way lower and deeper, he speaks kind of sluggishly like he’s exhausted and in deep turmoil. Although he’s re-energized after Cayde fixes him and he gets a new form, he continues to speak with that low-hanging tone of a tormented spark weighed down by a severe sense of loss, which was a great way to actively show how much the humans’ betrayal and the deaths of most of his autobot brethren between the 4th and 5th films had destroyed him more internally than externally

The first is the best. The robot voice definitely works. ROTB is probably the second best since he sounds gruffer and they kinda brought back the robot sound. ROTF through TLK is about the same so third. And Bumblebee is dead last ESPECIALLY with how they treated him. If someone actually puts his Bumblebee voice in anything other than dead last I will literally fight them
I think at some points he does sound a little off in ROTB, like they cut his lines, or put one line together with another which made Prime sound a little less natural at times. I didn't notice it as much with other characters. I feel like they want faster dialogue which Peter doesn't really do with his version of Optimus, he likes to give the character more time which the studio don't seem to want to give. I could be wrong, Peter did say he had a much better experience this time round but it still feels a little Bumblebee in parts because of how the movie was put together.

The 1st movie voice give my re robotic feels. The noise and echo that he sounds like machine truly feel alien. After TF2 onward he sounds too much like human. They tried again with Bumble bee but not feeo the same.
I read on IMDB that Peter Cullen was added in at the last minute for Bumblebee, so he could redub another actor's lines. He said that it was his least favourite experience on the Transformers films.

You can tell in ROTB Peter's age is catching up to him with his voice. I do wish we got a movie that did Prime better justice than the bayverse did in the later titles, but I can at least say we had a damn good show with Prime at least. Mr. Cullen had a voice filter in the first two movies, it stopped being used in Dark Of The Moon. It returned on Rise Of The Beasts, sadly cheaper and makes Cullen's words sometimes intangible.

Yeah the first movie with the added sound effect makes the voice feel a little more alien which I think is really good.

I think it had a heavy “truck” tone, like a hint of the deep, low whoosh of the exhaust pipes. Especially when a jake brake is applied.
I actually prefer the cleaner sound from ROTF and DOTM. That’s always been the best Optimus sound to me.
