Wow… Was a little reminder for me… that when living in the Netherlands my son’s Grandma wanted to and wouldn’t stop cutting until all his curls were gone. Never grew again! Honestly I kept asking her please that is enough and please stop now. I put my hand in front of the scissors and asked, She is Dutch and very directly ignored all my wishes. Even to just trim front and back only. Oma felt she knew best. I was honestly upset and sad. It was not at all good that respect was not given both ways. Especially when she crossed the boundaries of even joking she was cutting all his curls off. When I specifically asked do not cut his curls. That is in the past now never again. Far to awkward and best to keep your wishes and cultural heritage protected too. Thus thoughtfully with consideration truly avoid that kind of potential family disagreement at all costs. The best thing for hair such as hers to to: 1) Deep condition weekly 2) Do the LOC method _Liquid:_ Leave in Conditioner in a spray bottle this add moisture. _Oil:_ I recommend Olive oil for her hair for moisture in the winter and for protective styles. But if you want her curls to pop a little bit of castor oil does the trick. _Cream:_ A nice styler cream or gel. Then just do _finger coils_ or a wash and go. There’s some great hair videos online and since you know your daughter’s hair texture best you’ll find the right one. Naptural85 does well with teaching about wash and gos. Refresh her curls with water. Anyways amazing video as always hope this help ❤️.
