Obselutly Beautiful . I'm so doing this as gifts for Christmas . Thank you a million times for sharing the pattern with all of us God Bless You . Stay safe ❤
Hello again! I figured out my mistake and I’m finally on track. (I was omitting the last sc before working the 5 dc on row 1). My shawl is turning out well. I’d like to thank you kindly for sharing this pattern/tutorial. Thank you ☺️
Hello Alice, I just came across your video. Excellent ‼️ I'm a beginner at crotchet but your explanations and presentation are the BOMB ‼️ I just might be able to pull it off. Wish me luck and thanks again
Hello Alice. Great tutorial, a must do project on my list. I've had a look on your website. I had a nice surprise. Not so long I purchased a shawl pattern from Wilma nice clear instructions even for me, a visual learner. I finally managed to print it 😊 after recently buying a new printer. I must finish my other craft projects post haste so that I can crochet the lovely patterns. Thank you very much. 🤗
Hi! ❣️ I do love your crochet patterns as much as Wilmas and i m happy to follow you as well. My only request is to give us more details as it conserns the number of the hook you use in every project! ❣️ ❣️ ❣️ ❣️
Bonjour, Merci pour ce tuto, très jolie réalisation! Pourriez-vous me dire quelle sorte de laine (et son échantillon et métrage)avez vous utilisé?Quel est le n°de crochet?Merci pour votre réponse et belle journée!
I’m not sure why I keep getting the stitch count wrong on the foundation row? I’ve done it several times now and I’m using the exact same hook 8 mm and the exact same yarn. I’m not certain what I’m doing wrong? Your pattern and video are very straightforward. Thank you in advance. This is a beautiful shawl. I’ll continue trying but I’m just not certain what I’m doing wrong.
@@Crochething No I’m afraid not yet. I even sketched out the chains on paper because I tried it so many times and came up wrong. I’m not sure why? Obviously it’s me! Thank you!
Is it row 1? Could it be the turning chains? You have to start in the 4th chain from the hook. And the first 3 chains/ turning chains do not count as a stitch.
@@Crochething I’m afraid that is not the problem. I have been correctly starting my 1st dc in the 4th stitch from the hook. I had to put it down last night after failing to get row 1 to come out correctly. I’ll try again today or tomorrow. I also got confused about leaving the turning chain unworked on the later rows after fudging row 1 to make it work. Thank you for your kind patience. ❤️
I’m having the same issue. I started with 45 chains, dc in the 4th chain from the hook, worked the stitches all the way across according to the video and written instructions from the website and still end up with two extra chains at the end of row 1. The piece is beautiful and I would hate to give up so easily.
Do you use larger hooks for the lacy effect or do you just like them? I love the chunky look of your work. Very pretty. What weight of yarn are you using?
Beautiful! I'm trying to make it but I'm on the second row and stuck. You say to do the shell in the single crotchet after the fp BP but there wasn't a single crochet in row one after/before the 4 dc on either end. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance!
Hi Stephanie, you start the row after the 5 stitches (fpdc & bpdc) with the shell stitch and at the end of row one you have to end with a single crochet before the last 5 stitches (fpdc & bpdc) , so every row you start after the 5 stitches in the single crochet from previous row. You can find the free written pattern on my webside www.crochething.com/wave-after-wave-pocket-shawl/
Not sure what I’m doing wrong “but” on row three I have a train wreck with the fpdc & bpdc on each end 🥴 ... I took it apart 6 X’s, it’s awful !!! Not as easy as it looks ...😕 I’ll keep trying tho’ . First time crocheting.
i dont know what i am doing wrong, i just cant get the count right, i always come out wrong on the second row from foundation. I dont usually have this problem. its a lovely shawl, but have started over 3 times now
Love it. Great pattern. I will make a man’s prayer shawl out of it. Thank you
Looking forward to making this. Great to see someone holding there work as I do ,cannot hold it any another way.
Very LOVELY pocket scarf

I love, this is so easy one, thank you
Thank you 🌸
Very pretty, and love the color.. PLUS this is the first time I have ever been spot on with a gauge!
Happy to hear! 🤩
You do the shell in the stitch right before the shell from previous row. Looks like the itsnin the 2nd skipped stitch. Hope that helps.
Excellent demonstration & clear instructions. Great work ! 💕

@@Crochething thank you! I will check it out, I'm not very good at reading patterns. 😟
If you cast on 45 stitches, but to enlarge or make it smaller you add or take off a multiple of 6, how does that work out?
soòooo buteful❤❤❤❤
😊😊
Do you knit would love this pattern in knit
No, I don't do knit...yet 😅
