    The worst part aside from the 8 drinks he was served was that the girl who served them wasnt permitted to even serve alcohol. This isnt something new though from working nearly my whole life in restaurants. Theres been many places ive worked who the people serving the drinks werent permitted to. This is a great lesson teach those who work in restaurants.

      @@ammmm3315 it’s actually against the law to serve somebody drinks when they’re legally intoxicated, and the restaurant is also required to call the police if they see the driver leave. the fact that they over served him alcohol, could clearly see he was going behind the bar (indicative of him being absolutely blasted), and then just let him go drive home is insane. guarantee you someone working at the restaurant got fired if not charged with a crime, and that restaurant definitely lost their liquor license and probably has a civil lawsuit on their hands (if not i’d be shocked). bartenders are trained on how to prevent this stuff, and knew exactly how dangerous it was for him to leave in his car. 8 doubles in two hours even for a man of that size is absolutely dangerous and insane to serve to someone. not to say it wasn’t on the driver what ended up happening, but this particular incident that took place was easily preventable had the person serving drinks not broken the law.

    • @ammmm3315
      @ammmm3315 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@colasushi You're not understanding me. I know it's legally required. I used to be a server. Just because it's legal doesn't make it right. She is not morally accountable. I also do not believe that she or the bar should be held accountable for this individual. The law coddling people and saying it is the responsibility of the establishment to hold everyone's hand as if they are not adults is ridiculous. This is American and you are, and should be held accountable for your own actions. Making someone else take responsibility is lazy and wrong.

    The bar has some culpability in this case. The drunk should've been cut off as soon as its clear he is drunk. Bars are not for getting drunk, bars are for socializing. The suspect shouldve never drove after leaving the bar, but I think the bar has some responsibility too. Im willing to bet this time next year, this establishment will no longer hold a liquor license.
