Great tips! I’ve been doing Disney with kiddos for 20 years now! 1 thing I would add is that people should definitely book a character meal before the child’s 3rd birthday when on a budget so the little ones EAT FREE!!
It will never get cheaper than that!

we are taking our 2 yr old. how do I book the meal. we are staying close to the parks like 8 minutes away but the resort is not part of Disney

Log onto the disneyworld website click on Things to Do and look for All Dining. You can book reservations online or call 407-939-5277. Hope that helps!

We ALWAYS pack tons of food and snacks so we can save money and save time waiting in line for food. We splurge on one good meal each day and have feally enjoyed our last few trips much more. Your family is so dang cute!! ❤

My tip....schedule character meals for breakfast or lunch instead of dinner. It is typically cheaper, and eating table service at lunch allows you to get out of the mid day sun. Also, don't waste money on the dining plan. Most people spend less money paying out of pocket. If you want your meals prepaid, then buy gift cards instead.

Use Amazons PrimeNow service app. It allows you to order groceries from the local Whole Foods to be delivered to your hotel room. We ordered bananas, yogurts, squeeze applesauces, oatmeal packs, apples, peanut butter, jelly, bread, juice boxes, veggies etc. We made PB&J sandwiches each morning and cut up apples, peppers and cucumbers and carrots for out kids to have as healthier snacks in the park. Kids ate a yogurt each morning and we used the coffee maker in the room to make hot water that we added to instant oatmeal that they ate out of the coffee cups in the room.
We also ordered bottles of wine and a case of beer and enjoyed those from the room/patio once the kids fell asleep for a fraction of the price of what Disney hotels charge for alcoholic beverages.
Tip: pack a knife, plastic bags, and silverware in your suitcase to cut up the veggies/sandwiches and store

We like to have realistic expectations! We make a few top priority goals for the day and then enjoy any bonuses beyond that. Sets the tone with lots of room for relaxation, joy and of course Disney magic. ✨

A good hack is to take a picture of the name of the parking lot where you parked your car. And the most relaxing rides are the train, and the people mover (in tomorrow land).

Thank you so much for your helpful tips! I've been to both Disney Land and World but this will be first time with a toddler and pre school age so thank you for recommending Natalie's page! I got emotional with you on the breastfeeding. Both my kiddos self weaned at 15 months and 12 months. Also, I wish I knew how to vlog and edit. I take so many videos and pics of my kiddos--an overwhelming amout- but never regret it! However, I to enjoy those in-the-moment times.

Great tips! I saw someone mentioned the Baby Centers. They are awesome! My daughter is 3 and she has been three times already. Next year will be her 4th visit. This was the first year we split a day. We were staying in a rental home for two weeks that is about 20 minutes from Disney. So we went early and left for nap/ relaxation time and then went back at night for fireworks ( Magic Kingdom). It worked out well. When we stay in the park we take advantage of magic hours

    • @euniceestrada6769
      @euniceestrada6769 5 ปีที่แล้ว

Lauren Cestra you won’t need much if you have bigger children bring them snacks and just one change not big strollers since they changed the rules on strollers for smaller stroller . If you want Minnie ears order them on Etsy or amazon they are more affordable I paid 150 for three Minnie ears headband not cheap . If you have a baby bring three baby bottles filled with water or 4 and a baby warmer bottle .a baby carrier charger case you will be taking lots of pictures

I also rent strollers from kingdom strollers and they are really really nice strollers we always get a B.O.B. and they are really inexpensive and delivered right to your hotel room the day you arrive and picked up the day you leave and you can pick your choice of single double triple and brand/style of your stroller. Amazing service and I also agree with adding something to your stroller to be able to spot it in a cluster of strollers because there are so many in one spot and it's hard to find yours unless you have something to spot it in a crowd. I like doing lunch character meals because it's hot that time and gets my kids out of the crazy hot sun and cool off a little and recharge in a way. ALSO if doing the princess hair boutique at Cinderella castle or the other location book it ahead we were told before atleast a few months to guarantee the time/day you want and help you plan better and they book very fast and so glad I did it because the week we went (Mickeys not so scary Halloween party we went Oct 18-nov1 as well as August 12-27 2014) also park associates who walk around taking photos are always willing to take a photo of your entire group with your own camera and never fuss about it even with them having a camera and take photos and charge for you to get those photos so always a thought because I know some people are not always super comfortable asking a complete stranger to take their expensive camera or phone when you have all your information or lots of memories it can sometimes be scary having someone have that in their hands I know a couple mom's who have had their phones stolen that way not at Disney but other amusement parks/museums and such. Disney World is our absolute favorite place to go and my son is 2 and I haven't taken him yet and my daughter is 8 and has gone twice and first time was 4 and remembers absolutely every single time and all the memories and can't wait to bring my son next year we are going for the Christmas event in 2019 which we are VERY excited for. We love the Disney World parties at Halloween and can not wait to experience the Christmas one they are so amazing and special and the park is decorated so beautifully and doesn't cost extra. Disney truly is a magical place for every age!

    Hiya!
I am going to Disneyland in June for the first time since I was a toddler myself...haha, this time with my toddler just before he turns 3 too!
Your tips are great and very helpful...some I have heard or read from others blogging.
I was planning to stay 4 nights in Long Beach, 30 mins from Disneyland and driving there. But after watching your video and others, I am starting to wonder if I should stay either 1-2 nights near Disneyland in either a hotel or airbnb and 2-3 nights in Long Beach instead of entire time in LB. Mainly in case my toddler needs to take a nap as I dont think he'll last til the fireworks. What do you suggest? I dont think my little man will sleep in the stroller. hIS COMFY ONE i WONT BE BRINGING BECAUSE ITS A MY JOGGING ONE WHICH IS TOO BIG AND BULKY so bringing second best but yea its a risk.
Do you think 1 day is enough??
What time do they stop the rides and what time are the fireworks?
Where do you book in advance for the character meals?

On Etsy they sell stickers if god forbid they were to get lost: the outside says if I need help peel off my sticker to reveal my contact information on the inside once you peel the sticker off is parents name cell phone home town and resort you are staying at. This is better because it’s a sticker on their back that the kid can not see and or take off. Search safety id sticker. I can’t tell you how many parents stopped me to ask where I got the stickers from and what a great idea it was .
