I’m a big Marino fan but I’d never say he’s “the greatest QB ever” as he never won a Super Bowl. But Dak is 2-5 in the playoffs and in reality the sample size is big enough now you can say it’s a “trend.” At this point it almost doesn’t matter why he loses, just that he does. Now if I had confidence he’d turn it around and start winning in January my opinion would be different. But there’s nothing that tells me he will even get the Cowboys even to the NFC Championship Game UNLESS the Cowboys get the bye AND he gets lucky. (It is an oddity because when he makes the playoffs he has this weird repeating pattern: 0-1, 1-1. . .0-1. Next time he makes the playoffs, if the pattern holds, he’ll be 1-1. I would almost bet the house on it.)
You are correct that he could “get luck” and win one like most of the greats that won only 1-2 like Rodgers, Brees, Big Ben, Peyton etc. you are wrong though about the three playoff years, he has 5 of them but your repeating weird scenario is correct, he has already gone 0-1, 1-1, 0-1,1-1, and 0-1. You know Peyton was 3-6 in the playoffs at this exact point in Daks career 🤔

Dak is a very polarizing QB let’s be honest. He’s in the same tier as Kirk Cousins and Stafford. Easy to overlook but all 3 have put up huge stats and won huge games. Dak at 8 makes sense but I can see why ppl will moan and b#%tch about it lol

@@jakieresykes3644 People come up with whatever narrative fits them when it comes to "big games". The reality is Dak hasn't won a Superbowl yet so that is why he is labeled as one. The other QB's who haven't won shit either haven't been in the league long enough yet to where those criticisms aren't as loud yet. They also don't play for the Cowboys.
Dak is the most underrated QB in this league hands down. In fact he's the best QB in the NFC. And people will use 2-5 in the playoffs as the argument against him but all y'all gotta do is look at the average to below average coaching and play calling he's had his entire career. Also the lack of running game in the playoffs to complement him and take pressure off him. Simply put, put Dak in Kyle Shanahan system, or sean Mcvay or even Matt LaFleur Dan Campbell system where they run the ball and run play action and use alot of motion and misdirection..... Dak winning a Superbowl easily or at least competing for one. You Dak haters can be in your feelings all you want to but Dak is that dude and Chris Simms broke it all down so none of you can argue against it

He also said that dak carries the offense more than people would like to admit. If dak was in a system that was creative or that ran the ball well, he would be unstoppable and the numbers back that up. When dak has a running game(100 yard + rusher) he is 64-17! That’s Mahomes-ish according to Colin cowherd.

If u listen to what Chris simms said, his only negative was Dak’s pace in big games. But in the same breathe he talked about how bad his play calling and supporting cast were in those games. If dak just has some playoff success he’s easily and top 3 Qb.
