This song is like coming back to your old home. In the midst of the hustle and bustle of this chaotic life, I always take out some time to visit here. I wonder how this song makes me believe that the world is a happy place and that everything will be alright. That's what I call magic. The song transports you to a black and white world which is much purer than the kaleidoscopic world we live in today. It's not just a song, it's probably a therapy for people like me and you who have lost their way. This song is like a halt where we can take shelter for some time before continuing on our journey. There's an essence of a girl I loved with all my heart...trapped in this song. Caged forever in memory....an essence of a lazy Sunday..morning breeze billowing through the curtains...and there she was...that perfect symphony of woman...caged in that mind blowing beauty. If you're reading this sweetheart...I miss you baby.
I remember listening to this song during summer vacations, when I was in 8th standard on Bajao and I was instantly hooked to it. Those were the days when streaming music was possible only through television or you had to buy cassettes/ CDs. I searched all around my city but couldn't get the CD, so I noted the timing when bajao used to play this song. I figured out they used to play it twice a day one in the afternoon at around 3-3:30 pm and second time in the evening at around 7 pm, I guess. So, I used to listen to it everyday in the afternoon. And then one day they stopped playing it, and I still couldn't find the CD for it. And after that I didn't listen to it for 5 whole years, then one day a college friend of mine who had a shitty taste in music gave me a scratched RW CD and told me to erase the data as according to him it had some boring songs and asked me to put some good songs instead. I brought the CD to my hostel room, put it in my laptop and started surfing through the folders. Suddenly, to my surprise, I saw a folder titled fuzon in it, and my eyes lit up but to my disappointment I couldn't play a single song as the CD was in such a bad shape. So, I decided to copy the files. And again to my disappointment, I could copy only two songs. Now I had no idea which two songs got copied because the file name was random number. I played the first one and it was Aankhon ke Saagar I loved it but I wanted to listen Mora Saiyan for which I had waited for five years and then anxiously I played the second song, I heard the notes of piano and guitar accompanied by the soothing chimes of ghoongroo and then the Ghatakam...the song was Mora Saiyan......and I felt ecstatic for I had waited for 5 long years to listen to this tune. That day I don't know how many times, did I listen to it on repeat, I don't know, all I know is I listened to it till I got satisfied. I have listened to this song countless times, have sung it countless times eversince and it's been almost 20 years since I first heard it on my old TV and it just feels as fresh, as melodious, as it felt on that afternoon of 2002..... So thank you Fuzon, thank you Shafaqat sahab for giving us this timeless gem.
That's beautiful....and I can feel that joy like how you want something so desperately and it just falls into the place , that happiness of searching CDs and cassettes was indefinable totally!
If you saw this is in early 2000's, you have truly lived the golden generation of south Indian music. Today gen will never be able to replicate this emotion

I don’t know who is the actor ,but from expressions to attitude ,eye expressions to body language everything he is doing is perfect ,he should be on higher platform , if i have chance to produce a movie ,i surely want him in a serious role , he is a perfect example of an actor ,Respect from India 🇮🇳
He is the top and Highest paid actor of our Pakistani film industry, he started his career in 1990, his name is Shaan Shahid, one of the top and biggest actor of Pakistan
Lmao For all those complaining about not giving him the due platform should realise that Shan was the best and Is still the best Pakistani actor Ever Period! He was given the best films and the numbers say so..Each film he did was the highest grossing films of pakistan up until now where shitty Adult comedy movies are grossing more then movies like Waar n Khuda k liye Shan is without any doubt one of the best actors in subcontinent atm and this is said by a famous Indian director
He is a super star in Pakistan film industry. You can see him in movie Warr on youtube. You will get to know him... He was also offered Ghajni villan role by Amir Khan for which he refused.. He is Shaan Shahid.
I used to listen this song on my radio FM channel while preparing for my board exams. God I miss my time in cold and chilly nights of Karachi. Now missing my time in Alberta Canada
Today is the last day of me seeing her in the university. We both live 1000 miles away approx and we both don't know when will we meet again . I am leaving this comment so that whoever comes across this...say a prayer ;) If everything goes right., I will post another comment here
its almost going to be a year since my dad passed and almost 6 years since my mom passed. their loss has made me numb to everything. this is the only song that makes me feel anything anymore. it reminds me of my mom's warm smile and my dad's eyes, and even tho it only hurts me but its nice feel something once in a while.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I wish peace and heaven for your parents. I wish I could catch up with u in real life. I wish u recovery and happiness. Get closer to Allah too. Would give u bliss and harmony and you'll be at peace.
There is a story behind this song. When this video was shown to amir khan by a director of Pakistan he(amir khan) said we don't have such an actor like Shan in whole Asia and he even hired him for a movie but later shan didn't want to work in Bollywood as he wanted to work more to build cinema in Pakistan so he refused the offer.Even amir khan offered him a huge amount of money and that's a true story. Shan is just love, so amir
But that's just an idiotic thing, talent should not have boundaries, today ask anyone , you would know who is more famous shan or amir, just because he accepted the fact that talent should spread
@@cocomoose4730 Its not like that... you are right there are no boundaries regarding talent, sports, entertainment. But Shaan Shahid rejected the offer saying two lions can't get along in same cage.

This is my favourite song of all time. My friend in school sang this for an inter school competition and we had a rehearsal during the morning assembly and I had goosebumps.
this place youtube actually has that essence of peace. When you come here and see Pakistani people praising India and vice versa you actually see the real side of people. Music has that great power to promote peace but unfortunately it's been used as an alternative for all the obscene things. You actually realize that the problem lies in power and that power is used negatively by all the politicians and other people. This world is driven by power and money. Sad but true.
It truly is! Everyone talks only about the song but I was literally a child when I first saw this music video and I literally cried! It's so bittersweet
A gem from Pakistan. Way ahead of its time. How the heck did they do this? Music, vocals , music video cast, acting, screenplay, editing, art direction, costumes. I mean what could go wrong? My only criticism is the fact that the video ends. Gosh!! ❤️❤️
Khamaaj it was. The raaga of 'separation'. Shafqat's classical notes literally gave me inner peace. It felt as if he's making me feel terrified, lost; yet in love. I thought about the olden days when people used to communicate only through letters. It used to take a couple of months to get a reply from the other side. Yet, they were patient because they were BELIEVERS. They used to trust their LOVE for the other person. //Pyaar tumhein kitna karte hai Tum ye samajh nahin paaoge
I’m leaving this comment here as a reminder to come back and enjoy this masterpiece again. Also, props to everyone here-you all have amazing taste in music!
I still remember this song came in 2004 and I was totally mesmerized by the song and it's video, it's so simple yet so powerful song !! It's September 2018 and I still listen this song, Lots of love from Nepal !!
The person refers to "saawan"(rainy season) as the most suitable and romantic time for couples to celebrate their love for each other. He states that the time of "saawan" is on the verge of ending ,and he is afraid of well being of his beloved. In other words he is expressing his care in a very childish manner ,that he wants his beloved to come as soon as possible. He also states that he is going restless and wants his beloved near him .He then says that there is some heartburn due to which his beloved is not coming back to him and he has tried his level best to bring her back. He then cries out his heart by explaining the fact that he is experiencing some kind of emptiness in life without her . He also pleads to her by saying ,that these eyes have been waiting for her since so long.
Music truly has no religion. When I was in school I first heard this song and I didn't know or care where Shafqat is from. Fell in love with his voice instantly. I can confidently say that he's one of those singers that will always keep that lasting imprint on the hearts of people forever. His voice touches the soul literally.

If he were in Bollywood he would have a super star but Pakistani 📽️ industry couldn't have given him the platform he deserves.
Lmao For all those complaining about not giving him the due platform should realise that Shan was the best and Is still the best Pakistani actor Ever Period! He was given the best films and the numbers say so..Each film he did was the highest grossing films of pakistan up until now where shitty Adult comedy movies are grossing more then movies like Waar n Khuda k liye
Shan is without any doubt one of the best actors in subcontinent atm and this is said by a famous Indian director
Shaan Shahid was offered to play Gajani but he wasn't interested in the role.
He is a super star in Pakistan film industry. You can see him in movie Warr on youtube.
You will get to know him...
He was also offered Ghajni villan role by Amir Khan for which he refused.. He is Shaan Shahid.

Yaa that is true
asad ch yeah u r right amir khan was give him the rule of (vellan) in gajny movie but shahn rejected
But that's just an idiotic thing, talent should not have boundaries, today ask anyone , you would know who is more famous shan or amir, just because he accepted the fact that talent should spread

this place youtube actually has that essence of peace.

It's not just a song but a complete filmographic masterpiece ..
Gosh!! ❤️❤️
Yes, how i wish it had a happy ending.
Are aaj tak mujhe likha yeh koi Indian gaan hai. Pakistani bhi kitne bhadiya gane banate hai
//Pyaar tumhein kitna karte hai
Tum ye samajh nahin paaoge
Believer’s are always Patient.U r 100% right.
No, Raag khamaj is anything but a serious raag.

So, you know Urdu better. Thanks
