I feel that if you're using smart light, it's better if you use it for a place where you want different kind of lighting for different occasion, such as your bedroom where you want to adjust how bright the room is depending on what you're doing. For something like the outdoor patio, it's better to just get a bulb with a color temperature that you need, and get one with a brightness sensor that will turn on when it's dark out. That way, it will always be on when it's dark out and turn off when the sun is up and you don't have to worry about it ever again.
Hey Jimmy great video as always!...when you said you have to give you location for the dusk till dawn feature do you mean you just type in your location in the app or do you have to have your GPS on on your phone.
I have no idea why someone would choose these over the wyze color bulbs. The wyze color bulbs have excellent white light and give you the fun option of color whenever you want.
Think it just comes down to price and what you're using them for, if you like a warm or cool light and don't need other colors, this probably hits the right sweet spot between price and functionality
Almost double the price. I dont even think they sell plain white anymore. I paid half the price with millions of colors I stuck in some stained glass Dragonfly lamps. You would not believe it. Its like each piece of stained glass has its own personal light that dances to any configuration I select. The SD's are double and that add on mini light$$$.

GPS on your phone. I just set mine up for sunset/sunrise
