Hi mate. this jetting set up worked a treat! sharper throttle response and seems to pick up better in every gear. Also uses less fuel so that's a bonus too! 👍
How did the necj needle work out for you? I’ve had jd jet kit in my 250xc 2015 and tried both needles can’t get it right. I’m running 165 main red needle 4rd slot and 40 pilot 50:1 Motul 710
Hi, great vid, came in very useful, especially whilst I was trying to figure out how to remove the throttle cable! I have a 2007 exc300, and changed the getting to 42 pilot / 165 main as advised by a local ktm dealer. I don't like how it feels before it comes on pipe, wooly low down, do you think I should reduce the pilot down to a 38?Secondly, do you think that fitting the Suzuki RM250 needle would be ok as you did? If so could you provide the full needle no. if you could, I know it's NECJ, is this enough info to order one? Any advice would be much appreciated or contact info. for me to follow up,CheersDom
very nice video bro please help me I have same problem with KTM duke 620 model 1996, can you check what type of jets and needle should I use to reduce fuel consumption, I would be grateful. thank you in advance
+woodsterboy I bought mine from a seller on Ebay. The bike is still running great! Over 5 hours of trail riding on one tank and no splooge from exhaust plus minimal smoke from exhaust at running temp :-)
Hi. I'm still using this same setup! You could go up one size on the main jet if I'm being picky. This setup seems to work well from sea level to 1500 metres altitudes. Cheers

Wat altitude are you riding at? And what temperature are you normally riding in?
so you ended up running 168 main with the 38 pilot???
& was that on the same needle clip?
thanks!!
Hi mate just stumbled upon on your video, great tutorial. I have a 2015 250. Using the same set up as yours (300) be OK? Cheers 👍

@@sw-freeride hi what is your air/fuel screw set at ? Thanks
Just did this to my bike. Half throttle to full the bike sounds loaded up. Any thoughts?
SANDS78 check the air/fuel screw is in the correct position mate 👍
What elevation and temp do you ride at?
+MotoJ90 0-2000 ft and tbh i ride it in all temps from 0-25 degrees
Any issue with running lean?
no issues with running lean all though recently I have gone up one size on the main jet just because I thought it was a bit smoother.
Thanks!
