Dear Maheer! Good question that we have also tried to address in this video. Social work is actually subjective aspect like when someone does some work to help society and social welfare is the phenomenon of helping society. Social work is more formal.

Psychology is a bit technical and medical terminology is there. Social work is pretty simple
