This is the 5th lecture video of Social Work from PMS Social Work series. This lecture series includes detailed notes of social work, syllabus of the social work and social work tips for the pms social work examination. Moreover, candidates will be able to learn how to attempt pms social work for pms 2021. #PMSPunjab2021 is being conducted after one year of the delay and students were given the opportunity to see their optional subjects syllabus and choices. 1. Introduction to Social Welfare in Pakistan
2. Sequential Developments:
(i) U.N. Advisors’ visit to Pakistan for Training on Social Welfare (1951)
(ii) Social Welfare Section, Planning Board (1953)
(iii) National Council of Social Welfare (1956)
(iv) Provincial Social Welfare Councils
(v) Central Directorate of Social Welfare abolished in 1964 to create Directorate General of Social Welfare (West Pakistan)
(vi) Provincial Directorate of Social Welfare (One Directorate and One Council)
(vii) Social Welfare Department (1979)
(viii) Social Welfare Department Sindh, Punjab and Federal Government
