A couple of years ago I saw "Gimme Chocolate." I didn't even finish watching the whole video before dismissing Babymetal as a gimmick. I thought that was the end of it for me. Then, two weeks ago, "Headbanger" popped up in my recommendations and I don't know why, but I watched it. Suffice to say they got me interested. I then watched this video "Road of Resistance" and began to fall into the Foxhole. Next was "Rondo of Nightmare" with the "Mischiefs of the Metal Gods" intro. It was over for me. I now love Babymetal. Like all of you, they make me smile every time. It's a beautiful thing. Since I don't think you are yet ready for "Gimme Chocolate" I would suggest "Rondo of Nightmare w/intro" as your next reaction. It's the one that sent me sailing deep into the Foxhole. The Kami Band is so freaking talented. Right up there with the best bands ever. I kid you not. Good luck on your journey. There is so much fun and diversity to be had. You can't even imagine. Same here. I heard them years ago but dismissed them. Just before lockdown i hapoen to see 'road of resistance ' ect and i was hooked. Got to see them live in manchester last year and they were incredible. Love this band

In a recent interview, Su-Metal said this RoR definitely helps BABYMETAL connect to the crowd in any country and in any situation. That is true. The crowd involvement (mosh pit, call & response, chant etc.) breaks out wherever they go on this planet. And in your video, Su shouted some words at 09:42 meaning "Bring them on!". Fans analyzed that the shout was thrown at people who had been ignoring, underrating, mocking, hating and even trying to discredit BABYMETAL. That shout was necessary in 2015 but no longer now.
Thanks for this reaction ! Glad you enjoyed it so much. Babymetal most of the time It's definitely upbeat metal. As you said this style fits them so well. And it's' not just the song they can really build up a song/performance like seasoned performers. And they are seasoned performers but 'just' at a ridiculously early age. This is also one of the favorite songs of the Babymetal members. Just a little side note: this was the third time they've performed this song. Ones in the UK, then at a small venue for select fans in Japan and this big stage. Definitely one of the best closing songs. Originally this song had more guitar work but it had to be cut because at the first venue it was clear the singing part with the audience they wouldn't have been able to make themselves heard to the fans because their was to much refurb at this venue (the building style is a bit like an old opera house). Such an amazing song live. The part in the middle is only long if you are not in the circle pit right there ! ;-)

For your next reaction how about something completely different again. Can I suggest 'Catch Me If You Can' live at Budokan, Black Night (or live at Legend 1997 (just avoid the compilation video with most views, that is not a good video).
When I watched Judas Priest in their Defenders of the Faith tour, the song You've Got Another Thing Comin' lasted like 12 minutes with a lot of call and response with the crowd... I never wanted it to end. Chills remembering it.

I'm a bit surprised that you found that middle part too long. You seem like avid concert attendees, so I would have expected you to understand how precious those moments are for the fans being there. As others have probably already mentioned, the BABYMETAL fans (or more correctly, the collective of the band and the fans) are called "The One". And these are the moments where we really feel like One, a moment where we celebrate this bond. I would agree that it would feel to long on an album, but at a live show I enjoy these moments a lot. Especially with a Japanese crowd like this, where you don't see a single person in the whole arena who's not raising their hands and singing. Also, it takes some time to get to that middle part of the stage, so there's a practical reason as well. :-) I find the atmosphere that BABYMETAL creates very special. They have that special power to spread happiness. It's not just the music, it's the energy, the smiles, the dancing... it all contributes to that magic. And there's more that I cannot really explain, it just makes me happy to see how much the girls have achieved at their young age. It almost feels like parental pride (I guess), which is silly, of course. But it adds to the positive feeling I get as a viewer / listener. I have been a metalhead for more than 30 years now, but I have never been so in love with a band before. I hope you don't just love Power Metal, because they have much more to offer. Their catalogue is full of songs that fuse different musical genres with different subgenres of Metal. Well said all around. I'm 56 and drove 6 hours to see a show and would do it weekly! By far my favorite band.. They are extraordinary and Koba is a genius..

The main guitar riffs were written by Herman Li and Sam Totman of Dragon Force. Dragon Force snuck the girls into a UK metal festival that the promoter refused to have Babymetal at the festival. The girls performed with Dragon Force as their band. As to crowd control, you should check the videos when they have an audience of 50,000+. Always love first time reactions.

Então foi tipo despedida do público, o momento apoteose. Quando 'ROR' não finaliza os concertos, o "Oh oh ohhh" existe à mesma mas é mais curto. DragonForce only played with BABYMETAL twice - at Download in 2015 they invited BABYMETAL on stage during their own set and played 'Gimme Chocolate' and later at an award show in London they played 'Gimme CHocolate' and 'Road of Resistance' together. The support band for BABYMETAL is the Kami Band and they have been with them since late 2012 (for a couple of festivals and the encores in some shows) and for every live show since early 2014.

Aqui vai algumas sugestões que com certeza não irão se arrepender:
- Akatsuki; essa música aqui é um solo da vocalista principal Suzuka Nakamoto/Su-metal, existem outras também como No Rain no Rainbow e Rondo of nightmare que são igualmente sensacionais.
- Starlight; essa aqui é até mais recente, de 2018, foi uma homenagem ao guitarrista da banda que faleceu no início do mesmo ano. Para quem gosta de Djent essa música é perfeita.
- Megitsune; aborda elementos de uma lenda japonesa em que falava que as mulheres podiam se transformar em raposas, ao mesmo tempo sua letra faz alusão ao ideal das mulheres japonesas, e que não devem ser subestimadas.
- Night Night Burn; mistura elementos da música latina com o metal, criando uma mistureba sensacional.
- Rob Halford ft Babymetal, Painkiller e Breaking the Law; O dia em que o vovô do metal subiu no palco para cantar junto das meninas, foi animal.
Best show out there.. I've seen em and it's a night I'll never forget...
I'm a bit surprised that you found that middle part too long. You seem like avid concert attendees, so I would have expected you to understand how precious those moments are for the fans being there. As others have probably already mentioned, the BABYMETAL fans (or more correctly, the collective of the band and the fans) are called "The One". And these are the moments where we really feel like One, a moment where we celebrate this bond. I would agree that it would feel to long on an album, but at a live show I enjoy these moments a lot. Especially with a Japanese crowd like this, where you don't see a single person in the whole arena who's not raising their hands and singing.
Also, it takes some time to get to that middle part of the stage, so there's a practical reason as well. :-)
I find the atmosphere that BABYMETAL creates very special. They have that special power to spread happiness. It's not just the music, it's the energy, the smiles, the dancing... it all contributes to that magic. And there's more that I cannot really explain, it just makes me happy to see how much the girls have achieved at their young age. It almost feels like parental pride (I guess), which is silly, of course. But it adds to the positive feeling I get as a viewer / listener.
I have been a metalhead for more than 30 years now, but I have never been so in love with a band before.
I hope you don't just love Power Metal, because they have much more to offer. Their catalogue is full of songs that fuse different musical genres with different subgenres of Metal. Well said all around. I'm 56 and drove 6 hours to see a show and would do it weekly! By far my favorite band.. They are extraordinary and Koba is a genius..
Oh we are avid concert atendees and we did understand how precious that long part was, it a tad bit too long? yes, it is. But as we said, just like Blind Guardian's Valhalla is way longer live, it makes the show even better hahaha thanks for the comment!

Bom react, + 1 inscrito. Essa música teve participação do Herman LI na composição, que é amigo pessoal do Koba Metal (produtor da banda). A versão original de studio tem aquele timbre agudo de dragonforce, porém, babymetal em suas apresentações toca em um tom mais grave, deixando a marca própria hehe, uma das minhas músicas preferidas.

They wrote these parts with a high degree of speed & complexity because they thought they would never have to play it LIVE. However, they eventually did play it live, joining BABYMETAL onstage on at least one occasion.

Nice reaction！But, you did not consider the size of the stage. This song was the final performance on that day(15songs ), all fans(20,000) wanted singalong together as long as possible. When they played this song in tokyo dome(55,000 audiences each tow days), it took much longer.

Great reactions all round seen this song every time someone reacts to it as well as being at shows experiencing it and countless times i watched it on my Blu-rays and i still get chills everytime . The fans even sing the intro now and nothing better than seeing across the fans with the Kitsune ( foxgod ) signs up and loads of BabyMetal flags held up it is epic.

The main guitar riffs were written by Herman Li and Sam Totman of Dragon Force. Dragon Force snuck the girls into a UK metal festival that the promoter refused to have Babymetal at the festival. The girls performed with Dragon Force as their band. As to crowd control, you should check the videos when they have an audience of 50,000+. Always love first time reactions.

Galera, o "oh oh ohohohoh" é mais longo do que o normal porque nesta noite no Saitama Super Arena com 20.000 pessoas, 'Road of Resistance' encerrou o show de 95 minutos.
Então foi tipo despedida do público, o momento apoteose.
Quando 'ROR' não finaliza os concertos, o "Oh oh ohhh" existe à mesma mas é mais curto.
Um dia vocês tem de arranjar as duas noites no Tokyo Dome e ver os concertos por inteiro... é um show tremendo. Ou o 'Baptism XX - Live in Hiroshima' Os palcos são épicos.

No estoy seguro, pero conozco a muchos fans brasileños, así que creo que sería un buen concierto. Había rumores de que Babymetal vendría a Brasil en Knotfest, pero como se pospuso no sabemos si sucederá todavía.

A banda é Dragon Force, tocaram 4 anos com elas, parecem que sairam!
DragonForce only played with BABYMETAL twice - at Download in 2015 they invited BABYMETAL on stage during their own set and played 'Gimme Chocolate' and later at an award show in London they played 'Gimme CHocolate' and 'Road of Resistance' together. The support band for BABYMETAL is the Kami Band and they have been with them since late 2012 (for a couple of festivals and the encores in some shows) and for every live show since early 2014.
Dragon force apenas colaborou nessa música com elas, nunca foi banda de apoio!!! Eles ajudaram a fazer a música, os arranjos e tal, chegaram até a apresentar ela uma vez juntos mas quem acompanha a Babymetal é a KAMI BAND, músicos japoneses

@@fernandobusse eu sou fã e acompanho a Babymetal há 5 anos!! Dragon Force nunca foi banda de apoio delas!! Como eu disse, eles apenas colaboraram há anos atras, quem toca com elas em seus shows são os músicos da KAMI BAND.
E mais: a KAMI BAND já contou com músicos americanos na tour de 2019 mas NENHUM deles era do Dragon Force. 3 eram do Galact Empire e 1 do Shadow of intent!
