I feel foreign brands like Jeep & Ford don't understand this simple thing about Indian market. If Jeep (a brand that represents performance & quality) produced Jimny like car (a small cost friendly easy to drive in traffic off roader), then it would have sold 20 times more than what Suzuki Jimny does right now at the same price point. Imagine how all the people who fancies a Wrangler but won't purchase it (due to it being expensive), would feel when they can enjoy a 'Jeep off roading experience' without breaking the bank. They will feel eager to buy. Even Ford could have learned from their own experience with 'Ecosport', which sold like hot cakes. Ford (a brand that represents reliability) sold Ecosport (a easy to drive in traffic SUV), in a reasonable price point. But No, they had to try to sell those cars in India that did well abroad.
