Hello dear i have one question. you did not configure static/ dynamic routing on core switches L3 but you have a connectivity between core switch and FortiGate how? please expound me
I want to know if i want to add a VOIP PBX, what Do I have to creat a vlan for it, and disable el NAT for the PBX to works out, and that the PBX goes out through another independent port or can goes out through the same port that everybody please help in this topology
now you configured 2 ips for each vlan - one ip on the fortigate and one ip on the switch 3 for example vlan 16 On fortigate : 192.168.16.1 On switch3 : 192.168.16.2 this is 2 gateway which gate way should i use ?? kindly exmplain !
Hi, he added a SVI interface for VLAN 16 with the IP 192.168.16.2 to manage the switch via ssh. You can`t reach the switch via 192.168.16.1 this is your gateway for the VLAN16. In other words you can ignore the SVI interface if you don`t need to manage the switch via VLAN16 it`s just optional in that case. Google Cisco SVI Interface to get all details about it. Br Steffen

how about in NAT mode. isp >(dhcp)> firewall >(static) 2 switches > pc's. no vlan configuration, how to transmit ip address to pcs
