- How Fast Can You Die in Minecraft? Of all the different and strange ways to die in Minecraft, which one is actually the fastest? Today we will test 40 different methods of dying with and without diamond armour to find which one is the speediest way to game end yourself. Is it lava? TNT minecarts? Ender pearl Stasis Chambers? The reason for the variance in your results, specifically with cactus/berries and fire, is that the player started with slightly different saturation values, meaning they were able to heal different amounts of health

18:04 Beds explode in the end and nether because there's no concept of time in either place. There's no cycle of day or night, and because when you sleep in a bed it skips it from night to day, the bed has no clue what to do; Its not night, so you cant sleep, but its not day either, so it cant tell you that you cant sleep. Thus, the bed explodes and vanishes out of existence.

to this day I remember the fastest and with absolutely no counterplay way I died in minecraft
I was making a simple mob trap where I'd kill mobs with a hit after they fell for some distance, but, while making it, something really funny happens... I had finished the floor where the mobs should spawn (around 22 block above the base) but while I went down, the mobs started spawning and my friend was close to the hole where they should fall. There was no protection against the mobs yet, just the stairs. We heard creaper sounds, there's obviously nothing around us because we were high up in the sky, when ALL OF A SUDDEN he was dead. Turns out the creaper above us would come to kill us and start the explosion cast BEFORE he fell off the trap so RIGHT when he appears to us is the moment when he explodes and there's absolutely no reaction time possible for that, he didn't even have time to touch the ground before exploding... Yes, it was really fun when happened to him, but then it happened to me too lol, I probably missed the block count or whatever but it was a pain on the buck to get it done

@@adanfuntime I tested it out on java edition. Full diamond armour and if you stand right inside of the crystal it will one shot you. I took it a step further and put protection IV on the armour. Again one shot killed. Maybe you should get better at the game kid.

some things that bother me:
- you can just drop the anvil from higher up to instakill
- you can place anvils on top of each other and drop them at the same time to get a quicker death (best seen in rekrap2's video)
- also the dispenser could be faster with something like an observer clock, and you cab set up multiple too.
- The create mod autocrafter _could_ be used to make fireworks with up to 30 or so firework balls since it expands the crafting grid.
- you could bypass the eyeframe by timing attacks like dispensers to not attack all at the same time (repeaters, or distance)
- didn't even mention commands

And that is where you couldn't be more wrong. Stand in the middle of them and they will do more damage than anything else in the game. The only reason you can survive being hit by one is because they are an explosion, meaning that they are weaker depending on how far you are. The same thing applies to beds so that is not a sufficient counterargument.
No it means they weren't on hard mode, because the damage scales with difficulty

@@enbnuuy Tell that to Dream. Their manhunts happen on easy difficulty. A single end crystal still killed all 3 hunters with full iron armour. I don't believe that difficulty scales the damage that end crystals do, only mobs.

crystals do most damage if you are within 3 or 4 blocks of them and on the same Y level as them or above. If you are even 1 block below them with god armor they will only deal 2 hearts per explosion, they do quite a lot of damage if you can use them correctly(half of your entire health even with 3/4 protection 4 armor and blast protection 4 leggings). They are commonly used in pvp in many anarchy servers and some survival servers due to how much damage they deal. Respawn anchors in the overworld do a hefty amount of damage as well, a little more than end crystals if im correct but i don't know if its worth trading piglins for enough crying obsidian to create them. And end crystals can only be placed on obsidian and bedrock.

Good video, but your experimental methods could use some work. Natural regeneration should've been turned off, for example. Also, the iron golem can one-shot you on hard mode (albeit without armor), its damage is just random actually. Though, if you count the time it takes to aggro the golem it's not too too fast

Fun fact: if you tried swimming in lava, you'd probably float on top due to density difference. It's molten rock. It's kind of like watching a water droplet skid accords a hot pan.
Let’s do the math for the endear pearl one here; you can trigger a trapdoor every tick and it takes 4 to kill you therefore 4 ticks. 1 tick is a twentieth of a second and so the fastest it can kill you with optimal redstone is 4 twentieths of a second or 0.2 seconds. You would also have to count in imperfect function times within the games code varying the speed at which it can kill you between 0.2 seconds to 0.38 seconds dis including potential lag as it would be unlikely to get it with this scenario (unless you are playing on a toaster). This puts it (at optimal timing) to the second spot on the leaderboard in relation to it not even being on there in the original design.

Me and my friend played a game called “Die Hard” where I’d load up a minecraft world and we were assigned an early game item from a random number generator. Then we had to obtain the item and die with it. Once I got spruce planks, and I got the spruce planks and murdered myself on berry bushes. My friend won most of the time though.

Crystals literally instant kill full netheite armor and can be used in any realm
Crystals ignore all armor. The best way to avoid death from one is blast protection and placing a block between yourself and the crystal.
@@IndigoGollum This comment is just incorrect. Crystals do not ignore armor, but still one shot you with full armor. Crystals work in a weird way. They do more damage the closer they are to your feet. And yes I know very much about this topic as I do a lot of crystal pvp. And you contradict yourself in your own comment by saying they ignore all armor but then saying blast protection reduces it (which is true it does)
@@bznshee yeah, crystals are by far the best way to kill someone instantaneously. It's a shame he made this whole video discussing almost every way to die, and then disregard end crystals completely while being completely wrong about them as well.
Crystals are actually an even stronger explosion than Alt-Dimension Beds. Wiki confirms it.

for those who say that the bed method is not fair, there is another very fast way (faster than strength op zombie). there is a trap or we could call, Creation in minecraft called "Moving Mines". basically you put a block ahead of a rail that its direction is up to down, then you put 2-3 minecars on the rail plus a tnt on minecart. the moment you break the block that is preventing minecarts to move, the minecarts start moving and the moment it collides with an entity or block (or basically anything that will stop it from moving) it explodes, 1.6x times bigger than withers explosion! that's why it's called "Moving Minecarts". now, to explain how they work:
tnt on minecarts deal more damage based on how far they fall (or how much time it takes for them to hit the ground | maximum is 1.6x times more than withers explosion). the first minecart is actually colliding with the ground (the others are not colliding with the ground = they're falling) and others are just stuck in that minecart, pushing it (that's why they move all together). im note sure about the why they explode at their maximum capacity but i think it's probably some sort of loop happening in the code. the reason about why they explode on colliding with an entity or block is simply because they weren't colliding with the ground when they were stuck in the minecart and now they do! in other words, they were falling and now they hit the ground.

The reason the flint and steel one with armor was faster is because you had full hunger without armor and your health was regenerating but with armor you didn't have full hunger so you didn't regenerate and died faster

Getting books is really easy if you force a zombie to attack a villager and then curing the villager. You can get really good books for extremely cheap prices, like a silk touch book for 5 emeralds.

the bigger problem is moving the zombie
the zombie can't move in daylight unless it has a helmet/pumpkin (spawned in halloween)/fire resistance, if it has a helmet, you need to think about its durability, fire resistance, the duration
it shouldn't be distracted by snow golems, iron golems, shouldn't be accidentally killed or be distracted
and moving it through dimensions using portals or moving long distances with its slow speed makes it terrible for transportation
