Frank literally just roasted the oversized woman, in his first seconds of commentary: "if someone who's daughter is schooling in Dubai is here telling us how good this administration has been, when millions of Nigerians are frustrated and protesting, then it tells much about her, and her emotional intelligence".
Thank you, Frank, for always being frank!🙌💪

Most of our politicians have lost touch with reality regarding the state of the nation, and this is due to selfishness, greed, self centeredness, and corruption in our system. There's no policy made or transparent if it had transformed the lives of common man in the society. No one is concerned about policy, it's the outcome that what people need.

Truely this woman does not know the realities on ground. She shouldn't have mentioned her daughter in Dubai. When some can't even pay school fees for their children in Nigeria. Why is her daughter not schooling in Nigeria? Convert that money she is paying as school accommodation fees (excluding other fees) for the daughter and you see she doesn't understand the realities. If she does, she is then insensitive. She is not the one to speak at this time. Is her statements not pointing to the attitude of the people she is speaking for. Of course we know it does. But know you woman, the problems on ground is spreading to all. About being patient, know that a hungry man is an angry man. For Frank Tietie, Kudos 👍

I am just thinking in my head a scenario where the president decides to go out to meet the protesters under of course heavy security and speak to them. Explain to them all he has been trying to do with policies and programs already taken. Tell them that he acknowledges he may not have faired well in some areas of cost cutting of governance and then promise to convene a meeting between leaders who the protesters will nominate and the government team led by himself to discuss the issues raised by the protesters with a view to find common grounds on them. I bet you this move will diffuse the tension and de-escalate the crisis. But, you see african leaders are very proud. They think the only to exercise their authority is to be bullies and be seen as strong. This is wrong. People have emotions... just appeal to their emotions and they will yield.
How can you tell citizens to be patient and absorb the pains that come with reforms whereas you and your officials are living extravagantly and lavishly and do it to the very faces of the citizens. You instantly lose any moral justification to appeal to them to patient subsequently. Your ministers and officials are stealing public funds and none has been prosecuted and jailed even if it is for just one week. Do it for the optics. Look, things and times have changed. If they could bully the old generation, they certainly can do the same to the GenZs. This set of people are well informed. The have access to real-time information. They know what obtains in other climes and can't not be manipulated because they can readily access the facts about issues. Moreso, they can mobilize themselves with ease. You don't use the same style of leadership as in the past with them. It won't work. You need to recalibrate your leadership style to sync with them. This is the consequence of electing antiquated/analogue leaders to govern a society or nation whose young people constitite the largest segment of the populaton and who are increasingly digitally minded.
